What’s the reason why you e on wave and then use your q for poke? What’s the purpose of e on wave of not going to q it?
You can get lane priority in two ways.
1. Shoving (obviously)
2. Winning trades and creating hp advantage
Ryze shove is so OP that it doesnt matter if I delay my shove by 2 e casts because I will always end up with shove no matter what. So by looking for Q poke, I can gain shove easier anyways while gaining kill potential and denying enemy kill pressure (because they would be lower hp, so they don't wanna all-in) at the same time. 2 birds, 1 stone.

Im pretty sure triple lost chapter is overkill.
I would just play AA and BFT, going for rabadons, crypt and a utility item, instead of ludens. You gain way more damage, for losing a small amount of that shield, which is overkill anyway.
I’ve been watching the only other RyZe player in challenger. It’s a las 300 game one trick who plays top only. Is RyZe top the main meta or is he just niche picking? I would’ve thought being top would be harder

Yes!! ROA = horrible item
@@Strompest ROA is a great item on Ryze. It probably gives a bit less burst damage but it gives tons of durability and sustain. It's very important as Ryze doesn't have much range on his spells.
@@BikerLobster i dont think sustain will matter since ur low range and HAVE to walk up, so without the suprise shield ur bound to get oneshot

@@georgeromain2274 there is no counterplay to irelia q dashes. Vs yasuo u can distance urself from wave and he cannot kill you because of positioning. Irelia it does not matter she has 700 range q dash you cant outplay it
