2:10 ここの場面は人差し指のみで土を絞っているのでしょうか？親指は支えとして置いておくだけですか？また人差し指のどのあたりを触れさせて力を加えてますか？

人差し指と親指で絞っていますが、人差し指全体で握って指先を食い込ませているイメージです。
文章で説明するのは難しいですね・・・。

ところで、先生は「玉取り」されていませんが何かしない理由ってありますか？　
ピンポン玉やみかん位とか・・・初心者には理解し易い手法ではないかと思い、お聞きします。
（ロクロも地域毎に様々であることは承知していますが）

私は「玉取り」はしていません。理由は作るサイズを穴を掘る深さで決めているからです。
ひたすら同じサイズの作品を作るのであれば「玉取り」も有効だと思いますが、私なんてほとんど同じサイズの作品を作らないので、粘土を掘ってから下を絞っています。
あと「玉取り」すると粘土上部が大きくなるので、若干作りにくくなると理解している為です。
