I will clear up how much Walt is responsible for founding Grey Matter. In S1 when Walt turns down the money for Gretchen & Elliot, she calls him to ask why. She tells Walt that half the company or half the money should be his (I'm paraphrasing, but I think you will remember episode). The is because they used all of Walts research to start the company. Even though Walt took the $5k buyout, I think Gretchen can't deny how much Walt contributed to their success and riches. The reason they are denying it on Charlie Rose, is because of the negative press and falling stocks.
@@kai_masters Yeah, there were never any details or literal confirmation, only Gretchen's words on that call. My theory of why things really went south between the 3 of them is Elliot and Gretchen slept together while she was dating Walt, and Walt found out. Can't wait for finale, keep up the great reactions❤️

Andrea's death usually shocks everyone (as it should), but what's sad is that that kind of stuff does happen in real life. In the criminal world there are no legal recourses to enforce your interests, so violence is used and even innocent people are used as collateral.
i would love to see you react to THE SOPRANOS next, which is the only reason vince gilligan created the breaking bad universe/show. name the greatest american tv show in the last 50 years and just to give you a buffer before beginning better call saul
We're already underway on our filming of Better Call Saul reactions; in fact, you can catch the first three episodes on our Patreon. However, we have shortlisted The Sopranos for future reactions!
@Kyuzo-dj2fp there are plenty of interviews where Vince Gilligan points out that he was so inspired by the sopranos that it was “the only reason he wrote a show where the main character was also the villain” and that he took many of the ideas from the show. This is widely known
Congratulations Andrea! I'm glad you made it through this show. Way back in the beginning I mentioned to you that I didn't think you were tough enough to get through this show. And you should know, if you don't already, that Vince Gilligan (the show creator) intended to make a show where the main character is a mild-mannered law-abiding citizen and turn him into a Scarface type person. Mission accomplished! Don't forget to watch El Camino next. Think of it as BB 5x17. Then enjoy Better Call Saul 😎

I always thought that Walt was really the brains in Gray Matter & had a romantic relationship with Gretchen but at some point she went with Elliott & thats when the three of them split up. We are so close to the end it feels like it went too fast. I do hope you continue with El Camino & then Better Call Saul. BCS is different than BB but I have got to say it is equally as good if not better in some ways. Anyway, I have enjoyed the ride Andrea!
Yet another excellent reaction, Andrea. Make sure you remember the comment about managing a Cinnabon in Omaha, Nebraska for when you begin 'Better Call Saul'.
“I woke up. I found her. That’s all I know” Brock
That’s cold, bruh! 🥶🥶🥶
😭
Walt and Saul's professional relationship started with and ended with coughing
Interesting considering that Walt was coughing in the very first episode of the show. In that way, it brings everything full circle.
Lol that's right
Any doubt you had about Aaron Paul winning best supporting actor were erased with these last 4 episodes. He was incredible.
Agreed!

I figured they were lying, but there was never really any information about Walt’s exact contribution. Thanks for clarifying!

Walt was about to give up, until that bar scene. He HATED people downgrading his accomplishments. That's the motivation he needed
Once again his ego got in the way!

Great reaction! Can’t believe you’re almost done with the series!
I know! It’s been a blast. Better Call Saul coming soon!
Andrea’s death is the saddest in the entire series for me, she was a complete innocent. 😢
Her and Brock
Lydia not so but Todd has a huge crush on her she knows that he does and she is using that to get what she wants from them
Smart lady 😉

I just realized that Walt uses Skyler's maiden name (Lambert) for his fake identity. Seems like a bad idea.
That’s Skyler’s maiden name? I don’t remember any mention of that on the show.
@@kai_masters It's very subtle, but in S3E5 "Mas" you can briefly see on the divorce papers it says "Skyler Lambert".

Mr Magorium is a Dustin Hoffman / Natalie Portman film. Jason Bateman too.
“what I do I do for my family” BULLLSHIT!. I agree and love that you see through Walt’s bullshit
He used the same excuse all show!

Yet another excellent reaction, Andrea.
Make sure you remember the comment about managing a Cinnabon in Omaha, Nebraska for when you begin 'Better Call Saul'.
So now you know Walt did everything for his family; Even cleverly making sure his wife was blameless when he made the call.
Although he admitted to Skyler that he also did it for himself.
11:12 Its a interesting movie I would love to see a reaction to it sometime.
I’m not sure it would get too many views 🤔
