I did have a question, for those of us who track workouts on a smart watch (apple for me) would you call the entire Strong program Functional Strength Training? Or a different category like HIIT?

We will be doing one week of HIIT workouts - but they will be mostly no-jumping, strength-focused HIIT workouts - so for those, I think you could use either label 💖
Day 2 done! I used to love leg day at the gym. And here I was wondering how to get so much in at home without a smith machine or a squat wrack or leg press or leg extension. I loved this workout. And I had to modify....quite a bit. Body weight for some moves, lighter weight for others. But I loved every moment of this! I can see myself keeping this in rotation after finishing Strong.

Have to apologize for saying you had no stretching after workout from Day 1. Today you definitely had some stretching after the workout which is most helpful. I must of missed the stretching after Day 1 video. Today's workout was great! I had to modify or not do some at all due to my Left hip Tendonitis. Had hip replacement and never been the same. Hard to do lunges and squats without being in lots of pain. My total time was 30 mins which is not bad. Looking forward to your next workout and more!

Yay! I finished Day 2 but I was tired toward the end. Is warming up on a mini trampoline for 12 min too much? Shout out to the Flyby bench. I now feel justified for spending money on it. lol
I repeated day 1 two days ago due to a health issue I got knocked off schedule last week. Today was my day 2. Had to pause the video 3 times to catch my breath and wait for my face to be less red. I didn't have a wall I could used in my workout square at the gym so I had to do that exercise leaning against the bench.I didn't have a band so I did that exercise without it. By some miracle I managed to finish. Did a little bit of yoga stretching after as a cool down.. Where is a good place to get bands?
What matters is that you got it done!! Way to go!! Breaks are absolutely normal - and absolutely necessary sometimes, you got this! My first time doing this. The swings were tough, Only did a few. I modified and only used body weight, but did have a band around my thighs tho! I like doing 2-3 sets better.

Any suggestions for a modification for the keeling squat up & downs? I have a badly injured knee can’t do any kneeling exercises for the time being…
So sorry! I would swap for regular squats or step back from a squat into a lunge. Hope that helps 💖💪
