Hi Liz. This is ingenious! I absolutely love this, and there is so much I want to do with them. These would be so cute for journaling, and I could totally see myself making these for little character profiles for my writer’s notebook. Fun times! 😅😍😀

At 8:52 you edit a vertical text box from Morning Thoughts to Evening Reflections. How did you insert a vertical text box🤯? I was under the impression the only way to get text vertical is by taking the lasso tool, make it an element, insert it and then rotate it. Unfortuantely, it is not editable at this point anymore.
Lol I knew someone would ask me one day. This is my filming setup…a couple of jars of rice and beans with metallic lids that stack up to the perfect height to put my ipad mini on top for filming. 🤣 It’s probably time to get a proper setup lol. 🤣
Nevermind. My bad. It comes out of elements with the whole group having the selection box around all the elements as one. If I click off the selection and go back to select and item, it is still unmerged. Sorry!

It is simply text that is rotated using the lasso tool.
Type out the text then lasso it and cut it and past it then you can rotate it

Liz, I am finding that if you "add element" with an unmerged card, it becomes merged.
I haven’t found that. If I add to elements as is and then add it back to my page it is still in layers. Is there something I am missing?

If you select it with the element tool its merge together but if selected with the lasso or photo tool it’s not merged
