Liz, I love this idea. I think I'll also use it for my household organization. Last summer we did a huge declutter. We then organized all that was left. Although it all looks tidy, I can't always remember where I put each collection of items. This will help me know at the touch of a button where things are. I've also got some heirloom items. I'll be able to put some additional information about each item in my folder. I can also include a picture. Thank you! I love that they are aesthetically pleasing. That will make me want to keep up with it. I let you know how it turns out.

I also have a lot of pdf files of classes and sorts. My files are a mess. I’m curious if once I have imported them into goodnotes (and goodnotes is backing up on iCloud), can I get them out of my files section - which is where the mess is? I’m trying to get rid of the mess, so I’m thinking so. Goodnotes is just a reader and it keeps its own system in the background, so I believe I am thinking through this correctly. I would have to export them as pdfs if I ever wanted to switch systems again, but I really like GN and at this point that is my best solution.

@@ChristineSalinas-mp3je yes you can export them out again as pdf’s . I do keep all the original pdf’s on an external hard drive (just in case😊)
