    Jan's analysis of our country's politics is very insightful and refreshing. I learnt a lot especially about his 67% majority win theory of a coalition between ANC, EFF and MK. But he got it wrong where EFF is concerned. These youngsters are delivery orientated. Their discipline and maturity speak for itself. I personally like EFF to overtake DA on that official opposition position. This would have been a sure eventuality if they had postponed "Borderless SA", at least for this elections.

      I think his underlying argument is that the EFF is based on the same principles as the ANC. The difference is exactly what you saying, they are more intentional and radical about the same things that the ANC wants to do. With shared principles, he argues that the EFF can function with the ANC than with the DA.

    I think he is wrong about the EFF.
    Example: Where the EFF got the chance they implemented their policies. EFF implented their policies when they got a chance. Example when they were in government in JHB with the DA, their policies were implemented their policies. Example: They actually insourced the securities and other small things. Another example: In Ekhuruleni the EFF said they will root out corruption, they run finance. The corruption watch report came out in April and also the Auditor generals report, 70% of the corruption is in JHB, Tshwane and CT. Ekhuruleni improved. Another example The EFF promised that they will deploy competent qualified people who will deliver. Look at the work of the MMC of safety JHB or interview him. EFF has bad press, but their work is remarkable.
    I didn't like the EFF before, but since they started getting into government I am amazed. I always thought they were corrupt and they were going to run everything into the ground. But the work is proving me wrong everyday.

    Bra Jan is a good teacher. Great interview again Bra Dave. I kept on skipping this interview because I don't know him.
    Bra Jan there is no great economy built without enslaving others. Look now we have internships as modern day slavery. We need to enslave people to build this economy. Much like paying people at least R1000 per month for general work, instead of giving them R350. This is an unpopular opinion mara to build South Africa, we will need that and I will be on the receiving end of this slavery unfortunately.

    My reason I may not be party to this CITIZAN is the example of what he calls expensive private education. This is too elite for me. For me the fight should be about the still disadvantaged African majority. If this is not about challenging the state for the good of the poor, like forcing government to provide much needed skill based quality education, quality public health system and many more.

    It is also misleading to say that ANC is the most democratic political structure in SA. I am not saying that ANC is not democratic. The first thing to understand is through what epistemology and paradigm settings he is getting analytical tools from to analyze the SA society and its political organization. Once somebody understand that, then you understand where some blinds spots and bias may come from.

      Tribes of the south were mainly self sufficient and prosperous farmers esp in regards to livestock , hence Xhosa, Zulu’s etc didn’t have ANY interest in becoming cheap labour for the imperialist hence why they had to;
      1. Import cheap labour from the East
      2. Steal and pillage native land and cattle in order to starve them into servitude/slavery
      iKumkani Hintsa had over 100 000 herd of cattle when he was murdered by the British. By todays value anywhere between R500-800 million worth
      With all due respect history didn’t begin in 1652 and your ignorance is almost inexcusable for people who have been here for over 300 years 🤦‍♂️
