Nothing more stable than a USB inserted and display as image on TV what ever you want. So if it's a menu, make it on your laptop and save the menu as an image and display it on your TV. If the image appears smaller than the tv picture frame adjust the tv picture settings to zoom in or enlarge the image

Well it depends on tv you have i would go to settings and look for the following options
1.Accessibility -> autoplay vedio
-> turn on
2. USB Settings -> Turn On or Propmt
You will have to choose if you would like to be asked every time usb inserted (prompt) or automatically display by choosing Turn (ON)
3. Time -> sleeper timer -> OFF
4. Power -> Power on
-> Last used TV input
5. Power -> Auto power savings
And uncheck any times you have saved if none no check mark present

This looks like it's just a screen cast you don't need any app in your phone go to the pull down menu and toggle to the side until you find screencast or similar name and the content on your phone will display on the tv
