I hear ya! I’ve been shooting a lot of Strike Eagle videos and have posted a bunch of them. It’s intoxicating to fly in it. I still fly the Hornet but mainly I do so for SEAD/DEAD missions to clear the way for me to fly the Strike Eagle. Thank you for watching the video.
This video was perfect, it helped me find the missing step(s) from earlier videos people are releasing about the JDAM and Scratchpad! Once I understood the UFC target point relationship to the SMRTWPN page, it all clicked. XX. And enter then XFER to the JDAM. That bug you mentioned, I did not see a work around other than to go back to your A/G weapons page and un-designate the JDAM then re-designate it and hop back to the other MFD for SMRTWPN and change stations, apply the coordinates then try to drop your JDAM again.
Hey! I am glad that this helped you out! When I learn something which I was trying to figure out, I like to try to spread the word through these videos. As for the bug with the JDAM.. There are a few things you can do. 1) Break it out to separate programs as I did. 2) Once you drop a JDAM from the program, the "missing" one will be available and you can program it. No need to remove it from the program.. the issue is that you can't program it until you've dropped another JDAM. 3) Kind of a combo of 1 and 2. Make 1 big program (all the stations with the same weapon), determine if one is unavailable (I've seen this where I select the two wing stations and the centerline.. the centerline is unavailable in that instance), create a new program to include where the missing station, program the JDAM in that program. The first program (with all the stations) will drop that JDAM once its turn comes up in the sequence. I stumbled upon this last night actually. The JDAM is still there obviously, you just can't select it to program it. Creating a second program just for programing it does the trick and you can now drop it from which ever program you wish.
Do you have a VKB Gunfighter IV? Been wanting to get one but wasn’t sure how they were for that price. Can’t find any videos on them either guessing cause it’s new still
No, I have a Virpil CM2 base and a Thrustmaster Hornet Stick. I am actually going to be taking delivery of my new stick base soon (it's on its way). I bought a VP Force Rhino (but don't tell my wife!)
Hi! It's working great! I have no regrets about buying it. Are you referring to the two white dials labeled EN1 and EN2? Each step on those functions as a button, not an axis and I may be mistaken (I just turned off my PC for the night) but the light adjustment for those two things might need to be an axis? I think there's a way in the software to configure them as an axis but I am not sure. I'll have a look tomorrow to see what I can figure out.
The Strike Eagle is my favorite bird of all time. And seeing her getting some love like this, is really a joy!

Thank you for your kind words!

well done
Thanks! It took a while to put together mainly because I would forget to do something and a bugged part would bite me.

How’s your VKB? Have mine somewhat configd. Trying to figure out how to use the two dials for formation and Tail lighting.

VKB makes the best gear, imo.
