TFR is very cool! And I agree with other commenters in being happy to see you doing tutorials again! With all the radar changes, if you could revisit the F-16 and F/A-18 radar modes and functionality to maximize effectiveness, that would be most welcome.
A lot of setup in the F-15E, I couldn't imagine how it was in the F-111 or the F-117. I remember seeing F-15Es flying low over Mann Creek reservoir. I wonder if they were doing Terrain Following training then? They were low!! At about 500ft. It was two flights of two planes each. Great video, Cap.
Not a whole lot. You have to remember setup is largely simplified in the fa18 and f-16. It's a pretty fast all in one package, being able to set up it's own systems.
Hey cap! Heard that with update 2.9, the SM-2 (and I assume other SAMs that are capable in reality) have the ability to reacquire a new target in flight if its first target is destroyed. Wondering how this would impact the pK of a carrier group’s self defense missiles and if it would change the result of some of the naval battles
Interesting...how many times have we seen a SAM miss and there were perfectly legit targets to hit, but they just went dumb and self terminated. That would be a game changer. I am sure he would have to test to evaluate, but that could really change a battle
It's actually been in for a while, I noticed the GR SAMs have been magically doing this for a few months without us changing anything. It must have been this code added for the SM-2.
That looks more like Altitude hold, or terrain avoidance, rather than Terrain following. I didn't see any nose drop going over mountain peaks, into the valleys. The original aircraft with TFR, the F-111, would hug the terrain, and follow it at the desired altitude above terrain. Soft ride would allow a larger percentage of the height above ground to vary. Hard ride would demand nearly a 100% of the height above ground all the time. Lot's of pitch up and down over varying terrain.

I'm trying to talk my wife into letting me install DCS and buy all the planes and hardware needed. I'm probably looking at over 5k in US dollars. She really isn't going for it though.
Glad to see you are doing the tutorials again
As a regular viewington of disorder and catastrophe, rest assured, I also enjoyed this bit.
Hey Guys! Thanks for showing off my skills ❤ GR
Wow! F-15SE can talk!
Great tutorial as usual Cap
thx
Glad to see another tutorial cap!
I like how clearly you explain this! Nice work. 😎👍
Great, ive been waiting for this

This is awesome Cap, next we need to see you do some RAF low level through the hills in adverse weather style TFR

OH cool! a fun tutorial on an awesome radar feature! *15 minuets into the video*, "Ouch my brain"
Good morning or goodnight valued viewers. Hope you all are well.
Cool. Now what a bout getting a full weapons load out ????? Where’s my JDAMS etc etc etc..??
my "unarmed" warning never goes away
So.. Could you just use the paddle button to temporarily override the terrain following limits to make tight manual turns and then resume TF?
Yes BUT I found it almost impossible to get back on track in time. Would need a lot of practice and more skill than I have.

But why would Boeing source 1994 vauxhall vectra air vents for the f15E cockpits?
Super fun

Godspeed
Tell you want to check how much money she spends at the hair salon and beauty spas
I’d suggest starting with one plane and a flight stick so you can see if you’ll even like it.
That's why I'm happily divorced for 25 years
Prime example whores are cheaper in the long run plus you still acquire
Your freedom it’s a win win scenario
How would this compare to the Tornado's TFR?
Great job Cap 👏 . #SuperCap on big brain mode
I believe I did some kind of thing.
Does anyone have the link to the skin he used in the video?
Among the first ones!! yeah!
Btw: I love your vids!!
thx
Cap please make a video about F-15E Over-G system warnings
Has Strike Eagle come out?
My friend, its been out for a few months! Its far from complete, but its so much fun even in its early stage.
It's in early access, TFR is the most recent addition, hopefully JDAMs and DTM are next.
We need an updated buyers guide, please.
I don;t think there's much point any more because you can now trial all of the planes for free.
@@grimreapers true, but with your channels expertise, it really helps a lot.
Ref the turn rates: On that bombshell how did our glorious tonka compare in TFR, any tornado drivers here that know?
I’d love to disable the ATF
Flyups? You definitely can disable them
Nice function, but bit disappointed with many limits
i guess im the first
