Creed's Green Irish Tweed is a timeless masterpiece that has enthralled one and all by its elegant and full filling smell. Here is a full review of this masterpiece. - Навчання та стиль
No arguments here. GIT is simply legendary.
My favorite Creed. Just timeless. I’ll be wearing this all through my life.
Master piece! My first niche and go to for work in spring summer months
AC you give the BEST verbal description EVER of GIT. It is one of my all time most favourite "classic" modern perfumes on Earth for a man with serious taste. Although I LOVE Aventus, I think Green Irish Tweed may in some weird subtle way be even slightly better. Bravo!
I just love this perfume! Pure masterpiece! In the springtime wearing GIT is something magical. For me it's a wow!
I've only smelled L' Aventure Knight, I can only imagine how good GIT smells. A marvelous scent profile.
Great reviews as always Sir
One of my all time favs and my SOTD 😁
Legendary fragrance. Superb opening and beautiful dry down. Together with Royal Mayfair and Erolfa my favourite Creed.
indeed !
Thank you for such an elegant verbal expression of a classic fragrance.
Thank you Kevin, most appreciate your kind words.
Fantastic review as usual. Love Creed GIT. It is a classy, sophisticated, versatile scent.
Indeed my friend :)
Hi AC, fabulous intro mate! That montage from the 80s was epic, just like the fragrance itself. Fantastic stuff! If you like green fragrances another I’d recommend is Patrick by niche house Fragrances of Ireland. A wonderful fougère that harks back to the 80s. It’s really green and evokes the Irish countryside like no other. Difficult to track down but can be had for little as £25. ☘️
Thank you mate, and yes I have heard about Ptarick, let me see if I can pick it up.
I'm in the mood AC! I was 1 year old when it came out, but it's my mainstay scent now. If I don't know what to wear in a situation, I wear this...it's never inappropriate. Not necessarily my most loved, or most unique, but it's the Iron Lady in my arsenal for sure.
very well said :)
My first niche purchase, no regrets whatsoever
Indeed this is one such.
I just bought green irish tweed and it's gorgeous i bought a 50ml bottle to try but i will definitely be buying a large bottle when it runs out. So fresh, clean and crisp yet also very elegant and classy.
Greatest spring fragrance ever, along with Silver Mountain Water
The best Creed! Period.
I remember how beautiful this was when I got into fragrances a couple years ago. I really wish my 2019 bottle performed. I had a 4 oz bottle for a little bit before sending it back to maxaroma for my current bottle. The violet seemed more prominent in that 4 oz and I preferred that lemon verbena opening I had become accustomed to.
Another insightful and evocative review. I definitely get a mint indication in the opening, but it quickly gives way to the incomparable dry down. If I could only keep one fragrance to use as a signature, it would be this.
One of the best men cologne ever created ,classic and elegant timeless the no 1 in creed collection
I have this one in 120 ML. Love ❤️ it. Good review as always. Blessings to you brother. I hope you can get decant of Virgin Island 🌴 Water..... and Original Santal
Love you got us in mood for 1985 !! That was so fucking superb haha
Well presented as always. GIT is the best Creed ever produced, at least for my tastes. Aventus is good, Tweed is perfection. Astoundingly versatile. I feel just as comfortable wearing it with jeans and a T-shirt or a business suit. I’ll never be without it. 👍
Exactly my sentiments :)
I fell in love with Green Irish Tweed the moment I experienced it. I accidentally bought a decant of it online, and have been enamored with it since.
Here is my story:
My favorite fragrance.
I first smelled this at Harrod’s in London on my honeymoon. I was struck with smell.
My mind immediately thought: this is quality. Loved it ever since.
Another brilliant review from AC, I bought a decant after seeing this review. Although I love the scent, the longevity and projection are not the best, especially given the price. I think you should start mentioning this during your reviews as this could be a factor for some fellas. Anyway, it's a great fragrance and I will probably wear it on my wedding !
Amazing Scent! My colleagues from work describe it as - Fresh cut grass. I depict that idea, but I love it and I can't stop wearing it in summer evenings. That and Hermes. I also enjoy royal water, but not everybody shares my opinion. I have a decant of Royal Mayfair and that is also pretty nice!
indeed Royal water is fantastic Creed fragrance that no one seems to talk about. I have reviewed it :)
Great video.. aroma from heaven
What a coincidence! I actually wore 3 GIT clones in succession today before surrendering to the original. 😂 The heat and humidity strips off those scents like they were nothing. Bit of a tradition to wear GIT during either a knockout UK or Italian football match and today we had both! Tuesday here we come!
Haha indeed Doni, the green grass scent during a football match is awesome :)
A great review. I agree that a perfume has to be understood against the time and place of creation.
thank you :)
Amazing scent. The only Creed I will ever buy.
i can totally see why, and wish Creed do more like this.
Great review and I enjoyed it and I like this fragrance and I give it a 9 out of 10 and have a blessed 🌙
Thank you Michael :)
Great review of the one of best creeds. As you rightly said if you have the "means" you get the quality when you buy creed.
Indeed, glad you enjoyed :)
I’ve got a 2013 bottle and it smells amazing.. just an all around great scent!
Absolutely amazing isn't it ?
It will be one of the few that I will never think of getting rid of, will always be in my rotation.
Love the reviews mate can you do one on Gucci pour homme II please
Hey A.C. G. I.T stunner for summer have a 2018 bottle does it for me no problem and if someone says it doesn’t smell the same well I say to them, having lived in and around the Irish countryside all my life ,fella the Irish countryside is what’s changed not my bottle lol 😂 great job brother peace and blessings 🙏✌️
haha loved your comment Bren. Its the irish country side that must have changed 😂😂 , which part of Ireland do you live in mate ?
@@SmellsGoodfragrancereviews hey A.C.in living currently in the Royal County the ancient seat of the high kings of Ireland it presently called County Meath in the midlands.Originally I’m from Dublin the first main port town built by the Norsemen the name Dublin is derived from Linn Dubh translates to Black Bird 🦅 as was the emblem seen on the mainsail of the Viking longships.well you did ask my friend lol .thought you might appreciate a little history trivia peace out be safe 🙏✌️
@@brenlynch4811 I loved it mate, thanks for sharing! I didn't know any of it.
I love Dublin, theres something quite serene about it. I have been there many times, mostly for work in the banking district and each time while taking a stroll in the evenings after work while crossing the Rosie Hackett bridge heading towards Hawkins street I had this quiet feeling of serene calmness even after a very busy day. I really enjoy Dublin, theres something about that city :)
I need to check out GIT again. I tried it early in my fragrance journey and didn't appreciate it. My favorites are Royal Oud and Aventus. Creed has made some of my favorite fragrances ever, they also made Original Santal which I'm still mad at myself for purchasing. Not sure what they are doing lately with the cologne releases, but hopefully they can get back on track and release something special. Creed is a love/ hate for me. Love the scents, hate the prices. Thanks for the review.
I think Creed is love/hate for me too, I wish they made more fragrances like GIT.
A Masterpiece!
i love GIT 🥰
If you had to advice me to choose between aventus (smoky batch) or green Irish tweed, which one should I choose? Looking for Something which helps me stand out and stay charming at the same time. Thank you AC! Superior review once again
They are vastly different fragrances so depends on your taste. Aventus will help you standout.
Fellaaaas.
Hi AC! Have you tried Creeds Royal Oud? For me it is by far the best Creed of all time.
i have reviewed it mate.
Hi ac I got this recently for my 50th birthday always liked it its very nice but I don't think any colane is worth that money but I do like it thanks ac
This is a fantastic fragrance indeed and happy belated 50th!
@@SmellsGoodfragrancereviews thanks a mill ac
Hey, what is your personal opinion on perfume expiry? As someone who collects have you had perfumes gone bad?
Never as long as you store them in a dark and cool place.
In any situation at any given time.
Not a huge Creed fan but you just can’t hate GIT i also like Pure White Cologne.
very true. I have to review PWC :)
Maybe it's not a subject, but since I started my fragrance journey not long ago, I was avoiding trying Aventus, or any clones. Guess it's because it is so hyped, also under people who are not truly into the fragrances, and I expected that it is something not so interesting. I decided to get a decant a month ago for some reason, and I so unexpectedly fell in love with it. How big the love is, that's how big disappointing is when it comes to performances... and I cannot get over it... I will definitely try GIT, hoping that it can maybe replace it.
Aventus is weird. I go anosmic to it. I won't smell it, then I'll walk past someone and they can smell it.
GIT is definitely worth trying :)
My first video here. Good you get important events and personalities of 1985.
Compare with bond no 9 chez please
If I ever do fall, and buy a Creed, GIT will surely be the one.
Is that a painting of Kali behind you AC?
Kali ! which one are you referring to ?
@@SmellsGoodfragrancereviews The round one over your left shoulder (right side in the video).
@@ColeDano Oh I see, thats not Kali, its some plate I got from athens airport, i believe its some sort of Greek work which I cant remember exactly what its called.
@@SmellsGoodfragrancereviews haha, thanks AC, I guess with that Buddha head, my imagination went wild.
Great review as always👍👍👍 Ac try rasasi egra a 25$ fragrance a great clone of GIT and you know the quality rasasi provides thank a lot and believe me you are awesome a frag king 🤴 i would say
Beside Vetiver Geranium & Silver mountain Water GIT is the best from Creed for me.....Only downside of this elegant black bottle is the price tag....
No flowers in the background 💐💐
Staple here!!! 😉
If you could only wear one for the rest of your life.
GIT or Chanel Egoiste platinum
Which would you pick Sir?
Oh thats a very difficult question my friend, I think I will pick Egoiste Platinum only because its better value for money.
Best affordable GIT clone?
i would say tres nuit, I will review that soon.
Ac can you compare it with bond 9 chez bond please. Id really like you to compare these cause of your experience, understanding and passion for purfumery. @acsmellsgood
interesting. I thought it was a little boring. My spouse thinks it smells weird, but my spouse is from Japan, which doesn't have a perfume culture.
GIT is a masterpiece
Indeed Steve, good to see you.
I’m probably the only one who doesn’t care for any Creed review.
After sampling Aventus I decided that Creed is rubbish.
Blind buy, cant go wrong. Buy 100ml for best VALUE.
