This is a great fragrance, and gets me the most compliments from complete strangers. Comes on slightly strong when you put it on, but it dissipates quickly and takes on the distinct, fresh, clean, unique scent it has. And it lasts almost a whole day when I wear it. 10/10 for me! Aventus is very good, but lacks the unique masculinity of Green Irish Tweed, and also has less than half the lasting power.
I have a 2019 made bottle...performance is really not sufficient, especially since I had a sample of an older bottle, which significantly was better and was holding up a whole work day. Would rather spent 10 Eur on Coty Aspen than Green Irish tweed, if I wouldn't have already a bottle.
Antonio's a great guy. Very concise and informative. His earlier videos on tie tying helped me finally pin down the trinity knot. Not to mention his helpful tips on shoes, ironing and watches. Dude's a modern day gentleman. Fit, form and function!
That he most certainly is. I wish I was able to dress like him but working in blue collar and not wanting to go out anywhere on my downtime I sadly cannot.
A big thank you to Antonio for giving me a few minutes of his time. This video was planned for the longest time and I'm very grateful to him for working with a much smaller channel like mine and for his time. Please go check him out if you need fashion advice...LIKE I SO REALLY DO!!!
Hi chad I also love this in autumn/spring to but if you like GIT you'll love the creed VIKING. That's crafted to perfection with any weather or occasion.
I figured out this cologne marketing game. An undisputed winner ( currently green Irish Tweed ) is singled out and hyped up. And it sits high up in the untouchable rarified air of the ethereal clouds, far and away from all other fragrances, of course. All the other manufacturers put out their own similar versions in a marked effort to copy it. A couple of years from now green Irish Tweed will be forgotten and they'll be a new kid on the block that's replaced it and the same marketing scheme come into play once more. It all makes sense, they've got to concoct a means to generate continuous sales year after year.
Bois de Portugal is still my favorite from the house. I don't own it, for it's generally sold out at the discounters. I do own GIT though . Got it from a discounter of course. 4 oz for $149. Plus I have a 50 ml decant of it , and samples , of which I wore yesterday. Wow . Price went up. Samples too. Glad I got in when I did.
Great scent. I love the versatility, as well. Casual to formal. Younger/older. Maybe, not so great in the dead of winter, but otherwise, a very well rounded scent! Thanks, Chad!
I want to get one but I keep buying other fragrances..last week I got Tom Fords Mandarino Di Amalfi Acqua and This week I'm waiting for Comme De Garcons Floriental..But I hope to get GIT before the summers through 👍
Thanks so much for allowing me to be on your channel Chad! An honor!
You are awesome. Thanks again, Antonio it means a lot.
You need to try Erolfa as well Antonio. I think you'll really like it!
@@danspanos I have it and LOVE it!

Any specific occasion fir this?
I wore this the day my daughter was born. It’s timeless, masculine, and classy. Great review, fellas.

It wasn't a bad scent but it was not really for me. I do like it but not as much as I like some of the other offerings from the brand.
Great colab video and I enjoyed it and I'm gonna try it have a blessed day

I got a decant of Bois du Portugal for a review later in the year :)
When I first started my channel I wasn’t GIT, now I really like it and get it. Great vid mate - Nik

As usual, thanks for watching! :)
Great video but couldn't help but notice the Aventus cap lid on GIT bottle
Love the new opening and logo. Great collab.
Thanks so much, Georgie!
Nice one, Chad. One of the best scents of all time. A true classic.
It really is!
Excellent Job Chad.
Thanks Russell.

That TF is a very nice scent itself :)
I really enjoy this one, but I only have a 50ml bottle and tend to save it for special occasions because it's too expensive! Great colab buddy!
I totally agree!
🔥🔥🔥 video
Good enough for Clint, good enough for me.
How much lasts 2019/2020 batches
Another good collab. I have tried a few times, just couldnt rock it, i traded mines off
That sucks but its all about skin chemistry at the end. Aventus doesn't work on me.
Lol... mines!!!
Classy but East ti wear hall of famer. Nice one !
Do it big homie
Thanks big man. Appreciate it. Wish you'd be able to come up to Toronto but this bloody covid is a bitch for everyone and everything.
