True story. I’d tried a small bottle of GIT and after a few months after it had ran out, I craved the scent. So I went to the Creed counter and got 4 or 5 sprays (and I got a small sample bottle -free, I know amazing). But I was disappointed. It didn’t give me that scent I was expecting. This got me confused into thinking the scent I was searching fir was from my other collection. I tried them all. Not there. I bought Tres Niut almost out of curiosity. The reviews were good and the price was silly. Guess what. When it arrived (next day Amazon) I sprayed and my heart leaped four double joy. Wow! That’s what I was craving. The opening was like lift off. The secondary joy was knowing that I could spray myself silly and not worry that £100 or so was evaporating into the air. Oh, what a feeling. I just refreshed myself just now and it is so satisfying. I’m not a scent snob, but I tell you, when you find a smell you love and crave it’s just an extra layer of pleasure to your day. I think the differences between batches, and that goes for both GIT and Tres nuit, ends up making this whole thing even trickier. It can be downright near identical or possible that some tres nuit batches are even better than some GIT batches because Creed begun to water down their stuff ever since the acquisition.
Just got a bottle of Armaf Tres Nuit, and am astonished what a great scent. The bang for the buck is the best I ever seen anywhere. I used to own a Green Irish Tweed and haven't had it on for a good few years and to my nose it is almost identical. Not to say it's a total copy it does have its slight differences in the opening with the lemon. I really get a lot of compliments at work with this as well as at home. It's pretty ironic, the fact that I get probably more compliments with the under $50 scents than the over $300 niche scents. Good job Armaf with bottle presentation.

Wow I'm blown away by the comparison, I have seen numerous comparison videos and none compare to this. The way you explained in great detail each fragrance/ scent was spot on. I actually have the Armaf Tres Nuit, however Armaf came out with another fragrance and it is Armaf Le Parfait and it is INCREDIBLE much more GIT to me. Great review/comparison
I have both GIT and Tres Nuit. Although GIT smells more natural and deep to me. I actually get a lot more compliments from the ladies with Tres Nuit. Seriously it's catnip for women. But I still prefer GIT.
GIT has much better opening and overall scent but $350 vs $15....tres nuit is a win for me.....i can literally bath in it.....and it still be cheaper.......Creed has become Greed over the years..... Vintage GIT has no match it can never be beaten no clone can match it even if they use very high quality ingredients its in a league of its own but current formulation lacks quality compared to vintage......
Those are my thoughts too GIT is classier, i think more green. Tres nuit is sweeter. But the women like that sweetness. The GIT is manlier and grassier. For $20 though I'll take tres nuit. I dont even use GIT anymore its collecting dust.
Bought myself Tres nuit, pleasant drydown. Good for senssitive nose, lasts pretty long. It has that natural kind of drydown smell like smelling someone nearby that just had washed their hair.
Tres Nuit is starting to sell a lot in retail, we got it at my store! I agree with this review, although I suggest to anyone wanting to buy it to look for a trusted source online, in store it can be up to $80!!

I just got Armafs Aventus clone (Club De Nuit Intense Man) and I'm blown away by how similar it is. Pretty much spot on. Trying this one next. See if it makes me forget Green Irish Tweed like CDNIM is making me forget Aventus.
Great review! You are perfectly correct when comparing them both side by side. It is like comparing a Kia to a Mercedes. They both would get you from A to B but one have more bells and whistles
Tres Nuit is wonderful. When we are out and about, most noses can only detect scent DNA's, not differences between clones and originals. Especially when they are so close. I tried both and was surprised that Tres Nuit was more vibrant on me than GIT. Who knew? I guess you never know till it hits your skin.

Agree with your review. Only thing I would add (in my opinion) is that Tres Nuit by far outlasts GIT. After 4-5 hours GIT fades badly, Tres Nuit is still going the next day.
Very well said. Beautiful blazer too Pep. My only point on the comparison is how are they coming even "60% close" sub $30 USD? I think it is like 95-98% close... YMMV. What I get is the opening is thicker feeling with GIT, but 20m later drydown is damn near spot on. When it comes to the wafts of it in the air..99%. I tested it on my kids to get the feel of other people's point of view lol. Fragrance addict here lol. Good take✌
ShaveNontheDarkside it is weird because i initially smelled these on strips and to me they weren't close. Once the Tres Nuit got on my skin, it was a different story. I just found this sweetnes in the Armaf drydown that wasnt there in GIT. But the Armaf on its own is very good.
Yeah, I have a corner left in my bottle...I'm saving it lol. I'm smelling it now. I was smelling both as I watched your Review...it is a tinge sweeter, but that is up close. If you have it to spare, spray it on someone & have them walk past you...you need 2 people. One for GIT and one for tres nuit. You can pick up that sweet vibe. It's like and abergris floral waft for both...or something like that😂

GIT opening is where the line is drawn. Breath taking fresh. The price is high but lower than a lot of Creed frags. I bought one $102 2.5 tester of ebay. I sprayed the **** out of it. Until armaf brought this cheapie along LMBO😂

It does last all day but it's very pungent and slightly synthetic. You don't want to spray yourself with tres nuit, just spray the air and walk through it

Armaf is a hit and miss house! for a better refined and polished GIT clone, try L'Aventure Knight by Al Haramain, its much better then Tres Nuit and last longer.
Have you tried Estiara's stag black? It is said that it's the same juice as armaf's Tres nuit, since both are owned by sterling Parfums. But stag is half the price of tres nuit
Hey Pep; There is a fragrance called Stag Black by Estiara. It is almost identical to Green Irish Tweed. Since I know your love for GIT and how expensive it is, I'd suggest you to give this one a try. I bet you'll be even more surprised. The only difference between GIT and Stag Black is in the opening on my skin, as GIT is a bit brighter. After 5-7 minutes they become identical and the performance is exactly the same. Same projection and same longevity (around 12 hours). I normally do not suggest clones this easily but this one (which this fragrance is still dirt cheap and pretty good) is an exception. I enjoyed this challenge videos very much. I hope soon you'll have more free time to do these again. With much love, Cheers!

$20 vs +$150. Almost exactly the same fragrance. Easy choise in my opinion. The Creed is better. But they are so overpriced that it's not worth paying the extra money for it. Sad

The only clones that are better than the originals are the expensive clones with better formulas, e.g. Original Santal and Le Male, which are actually clones of Individuel and Cuba Gold, respectively.

after i wasted money on club de nuit intense man i don't think i can trust armaf reviews ever again. honestly i've never smelled aventus but if it's anything even similar like people say it's absolute garbage. i have 26 different fragrances and armaf was easily the worst purchase i've ever made in terms of fragrance. smelled like a lemon cleaning product. embarrassing to wear that in public. i thought about trying the tres nuit but i just don't think i can convince myself to throw away more money on armaf garbage. these are dollar store quality fragrances at best.
The opening is bad on CDNI Man... but the dry down should be lovely. That's a well-know critique and analysis. Not for everyone I guess, but I think it's a good clone!

2019 and Creed have priced themselves out of my market here in Australia. Nice juice but I'm finally admitting not worth the price.

GIT I get 6/7 hrs...almost the whole work day. Tres Nuit about an HR less but noticeable scent in your bubble..,5/6;sprays both

Found it at an outlet for less than $40 with two other frags. Randomly on clearance but it smelled so good to me, and I couldn’t place it.

TheChazas performance is as good as GIT longevity-wise but is softer in terms of projection. No idea on batch codes as both are decants.

I own full bottles of both. Tres Nuit has a touch of sweetness that GIT doesn't have, and it helps Tres Nuit to get more compliments.

The only clones that are better than the originals are the expensive clones with better formulas, e.g. Original Santal and Le Male, which are actually clones of Individuel and Cuba Gold, respectively.

i got a bad batch, the armaf is rank
after i wasted money on club de nuit intense man i don't think i can trust armaf reviews ever again. honestly i've never smelled aventus but if it's anything even similar like people say it's absolute garbage. i have 26 different fragrances and armaf was easily the worst purchase i've ever made in terms of fragrance. smelled like a lemon cleaning product. embarrassing to wear that in public. i thought about trying the tres nuit but i just don't think i can convince myself to throw away more money on armaf garbage. these are dollar store quality fragrances at best.

But for me personally I actually hate the smell
Specially the opening
The opening smells like freshly cut grass that you just stick in your nose ( not in a good way )
But strangly it gets lots of compliments from people and absolutely no one critisized it at all except for me
Now I just keep it locked in the closet and moved on
But for people that like the smell, they would be very satisfied with it
It lasts on your skin for 12-15 hours and you can still smell bits of itbeven after 24 hours and it projects like a beast for about 4 hours
People will know that you've walked though this street an hour ago
Abiut the GIT clone ... I still haven't tried it yet
