How to play the mini game?
The objective is to destroy as many obstacles that will appear as fast as possible
- There are 2 types of objects that will spawn:
- A floating pillar on the ground, that has to be destroyed with your sword
- A flying purple frame that will appear somewhere in the air above you, that has to be destroyed with your gun
- Press 1 to equip/unequip the sword
- Press 2 to equip/unequip the gun
- You also have a “Ultimate ability” that you can activate if it’s ready by pressing “Q”, this allows you to throw your sword and destroy any pillars in it’s path
- There are a few other surprises that you might notice 😄
- You need a mouse and keyboard to play (No controller support yet)
About me:
I've been learning game development for a few years now, I do have a background in software engineering, and I also have a background in education, so being able to combine my love of gaming, software engineering and education is the best way to spend my time.
I am currently working on a few unreal engine games as a hobby, but I am also trying to build a community, thus I am creating UA-cam tutorials to find others who are interested in game development and design.

Gratz on 10k!!!!! I've been watching since you posted like ep 3 of the AI series, you are a life savior, and ur success is well deserved!! How did you update the difficultly, like what file was it, and did you use behavior trees for the enemies? Sorry I'm just so curious, but congrats!!!!

For the difficulty, I base it on the number of objects the player has destroyed, after destroying x amount of objects the difficulty level increases, which simply changes all the values of the spawn durations to make them more frequent.
And for the enemy, I didn't use a behaviour tree since the enemy only does one thing, which is spawn a projectile every x seconds, no need for a behaviour tree to do that.
I love your curiosity though, stay curious ;)
what a dumb question to ask about the behaviour tree ....have you ever folowed the Ai series? or if you downloaded the project didnt you check that out on the enemy bp at least ?

Guys Note :
You can find the level in third person map and if the whole level is just white for you, you need to tune the exposer in post process volume.

Hey, I'm glad you're finding my content interesting and helpful! The reason I didn't use the component damage system in this tutorial is because I didn't have any complex damage to implement here, it's simply the damage amount and type, I didn't have knockbacks, blocks, parries, etc.. so I decided not to use it in favor of a simpler approach
