My husband and I used to play Scrabble every week with his elderly mother. She always loved to get the Z tile because it was worth 10 points and she would score big with it in a word. She died suddenly and after my bereavement period on my first morning back at work (at a public library) I found a Z tile on the front desk. I knew it was her telling me she was ok.

    • @TomTheOwl68
      @TomTheOwl68 10 місяців тому +21

That's actually nice. I would probably carry that tile around with me afterwards, like a lucky rabbit foot.
A friend of mines sister came to me in a dream and asked me to tell her sister that she was OK where she was and not to worry. She was always bent over when she walked but in the dream she could walk properly. It's the only time in 55 years this has happened to me and I actually really believe it was her and not just a dream. It was very vivid and clear.
Paranormal scares me lol. I don't even know why. I think it's the unpredictability.

After my wonderful husband of 34 years passed away the hospital washed his pyjamas and gave them to me in a sealed bag. I put them in Martin's wardrobe and forgot about them for a while until I decided to clean his wardrobe and see if anything was wearable for me. Well the whole plastic bag with the pyjamas was gone and I searched the wardrobe, bedroom and even the laundry but they were well and truly gone. About a month later I once again opened his wardrobe and the pyjamas were back exactly where I had originally put them. I live by myself with my cats and I don't think the cats could have done it. I think it was Martin playing a little trick on me like he used to do just to let me know that he was still around keeping an eye on me to make sure that I'm safe and happy. ❤

I just lost my mother in law at the age of 88 on September 22. She was ADAMANT that she wanted to stay in her house until she passed away. She had been in hospice only a few days before she passed away. Since she was in her home, she was fixated on replacing her furnace filter monthly. No matter what, that filter had to be replaced. She passed away on the 22nd, which was a Friday. I was at home getting ready for work Monday morning and went into the Man Cave to talk to him before I left home was aware of a blinking in the hallway in my peripheral vision. The "Replace Filter" light was blinking on our digital thermostat. I said, "Your Mom's here." He leaned over and saw the blinking light himself. We got a chuckle out of it, and he said out loud, "Okay, I'll replace the filter this weekend." However, the light went off after I left for work, and that damn light hasn't been back on since. ❤

Talking about personal experience. My girlfriend sadly died in 2014 because of a car accident. Months after her pass away, I and my friends all felt her presence, a very warm and peaceful presence, felt like the entire place was lit up, her shadow could be seen passing through the windows in her home and also in our meeting places. During some special occasions, we could all smell baking goods since she was a good baker in our home. Strangle after like almost a year, all of that stopped.

You know, you raised a good point and I don't understand this at all. I have had similar experiences (including lingering scents) after someone has died-and I've had more than one such experience. But all of the experiences in my case ended after about a year, too. Do you (or anyone else) know why that is? 🤔

Idk if anyone noticed, but in #3, the barber shop, right after she disappeared at the window separater, you can see something move along the extreme bottom of the window she was seen in, moving in the opposite direction. It's fast, so I wasn't sure I saw it right the first time, but after watching the closeups of the window, it's there.
Also, I've had several experiences as and after loved ones have died. I always find it comforting. And even still, every now and then, one of them will let their presence be known. Pets even still visit me now and then.

My husband and I now live in my mother's house. She left it to us in her will. I'm a water diviner and use rods to find water pipes etc. Just experimenting one day, wandering about the house with the rods, they crossed at the point in her old room where she laid. She was bed bound for five years in that spot. An antique sideboard we bought with us opens up nearly every night, despite being locked with a key & interior bolted. Lots of weird things happen and we just say politely, "Please don't do that mum! “ We smell her perfume as well, even though the room has been stripped and redecorated. I like that she's still here.

I remember on New Year's Eve 2016 a few months after my mother-in-law had passed away, my wife and I were getting ready to go out and I walked onto my father-in-law's bedroom and the atmosphere in there felt electric. I asked my wife to come into the bedroom and she told me that she felt it as well. I stepped in and out of the room a few times to make sure that I wasn't imagining it and every time I felt the same electric atmosphere. On the side of the bed where my mother-in-law slept was a lamp with a touch sensor (this would turn the lamp on and off). So we asked questions and the lamp would turn on to respond yes. My wife and I never felt scared or in danger and we were in awe of the experience. A few minutes later the atmosphere went back to normal.

My very first home back in 2000 I lived in it for six years by myself. Even though I travel out of state for a living I always dread coming home because I was never at ease when I walked in front door my own home. There were so many things that happened to me in that home that it would take forever to mention it here. Let's just say that years later I drove by that house someone is living there now. And remodel my old home. It was around October Halloween and my old house was the only house on the block that was covered in Halloween decoration. So I guess whatever was there when I was there still there now having an impact on the people who are living in it now. I will say one story though. I come home one day and I noticed there were fingerprints all on my kitchen window overlooking the patio to my backyard. So I called the police department and the lady officer showed up and we walked around the house and she look closely at the window in my kitchen and she said you do know that those fingerprints are on the inside right?

Your story about your grandma reminded me about me and my family's experience with my dad when he passed, just over a year ago now. In the days following his passing a few strange things happened to each of us. A fluoro light bulb we have in the backyard under an eve suddenly and unexpectedly looked to have been violently pulled down from the ceiling, like someone yanked it down. These lights are solidly attached to the ceiling, so this is very unlikely to happen on its own and no-one was around to do this, now why would they? I had a strange experience also. I have a pin board in my room with postcards and pictures tacked on overlapping each other like a collage. A few days after my dads death, I came home to find one very specific picture of the Horse-head Nebula torn from the pinboard and strewn across the room on the floor. Nothing on the board was disturbed, but this picture would have had to manoeuvre from under other pictures, plus it was tacked on quite hard, so a bit of force would need to be involved to do this. There was no wind flow in my room either, so that's out of the question. Every now and then we'd see fleeting images of a shadow jumping from room to room. My siblings had their events too... but over time these things have faded away. I feel like he is most likely moved on by now, but it was amazing to see these little things, little reminders that he was still with us for a little while longer at least 🥲

So glad creepy marathon month is back. I've been watching the channel since day one and have been fascinated with the paranormal since seeing a full apparition of a lady in black when i was a teenager in the late 90s. In relation to your great grandma experience I was with my elderly father last year when he passed away at home. Ever since then the whole family have experienced strange things from white feathers falling from the ceiling to the smell of his pipe smoke, his garage keys swinging on the hook, random 3 loud bangs at night, footsteps in my parents bedroom, phone batteries being drained, the tv switching on and off, the curtain being pulled back held up like someone looking out of the window the dropping and my mum also swears she saw an apparition of my dad walk from the bathroom to the kitchen and disappear. Also for the first week after his death a crow sat on the house roof. I know grief is a funny thing but there definitely has been some weird stuff happening even though it somehow seems comforting.

that was REALLY AWESOME to end this one on a positive, happy personal note... I for sure have experienced many things from a family member passing... in particular my younger brother who passed when he was 20 from drugs.... he and I used to LOVE drinking soda when we were young... and we LOVED to see who could put out the loudest, longest, best burps... well one evening I was hanging out in her car listening to music and just chatting with a girl I was dating at the time when she needed to use the bathroom.... well we went inside and I showed her where it was as this was the first time she was at my house... mind you this is the house I grew up in with my family but no one else was home at the time... I was hanging by the front door in the foyer with the bathroom down the hallway, which I couldn't see down from the foyer... I hear her come out of the bathroom and she let out a huge A+ 10 out of 10 belch in the hallway then she comes round the corner... I say to her with enthusiasm "NICE ONE!!" and she gives me a confused look and says 'Nice what?' and I say 'Nice burp' with a smile.. Still confused she says 'I didn't burp'... So I chuckle and say 'yes you did. I just heard you, and it was awesome!" ... Dumbfounded and a bit frustrated she sternly states "I did NOT burp" .... I was flabbergasted!
    - You see what I didn't mention was that when I heard that burp, somehow I KNEW it was Jonny's.. I somehow just KNEW that it was HIS burp.. He had a very distinct loud burp that I had heard a thousand times, and I just instinctively KNEW it was his, but it didn't dawn own me that I knew until she was saying that it wasn't her.... LOL
    - And the whole time I was seeing this girl SO MANY coincidences and paranormal things happened to me... much more than normal and I knew that it was because we were together.. she said she was having those things happen to her too. I even remembered having a dream about an event in one of my past lives of escaping from captivity during the revolutionary war that I didn't remember having until she and I and her son went to a park that just so happen to be a place that had events during the revolutionary war. We pulled up to the park and suddenly I recognized the place from my dream AND from being there, escaping captivity, during the Revolutionary War!!!
    - There were quite a few extraordinary things like that when she and I were seeing each other.... (it didn't work out between us, but who knows if we were together I might have gained superpowers or something lol) AND I've had other things happen that involve my brother... some that were scary because they were unexpected and right as I woke up in the middle of the night... but I'll save that for another time this month maybe :)
GREAT VIDEO!!! (AS ALWAYS) And I cannot wait to see what you have in store for us this year!!! THANK YOU!!

9:57 my family experienced something like this. for ours its our grandfather, and we live in the Philippines. TL;DR:
After he passed away from brain cancer, on the downside of our living room stairs, sometimes, there's this aromatic smell of a sampaguita flower. it was fragrant and you can't help but feel this "peace" when you smell it. and, what's not normal about it is that its a random occurrence.
But more of the story goes here:
to my family, we didn't know that all of us (except my oldest brother) were experiencing it - obviously because no one goes down the stairs side-by-side with somebody. and we don't mention this to anyone because initially, at least for me, i thought its just a random scent, like maybe my mom just passed by and she's wearing a perfume. until one night when we were having a family dinner, my dad mentioned it and said "are you guys smelling that flower scent by the stairs? i think its tatay (what we call our grandpa)". we were all shocked, except my oldest brother, who is confused. so my dad asked all of us: me, my younger brother, my older brother, and mom to gather together to that spot by the stairs. when we're finally gathered, my dad then said "tatay? are you here? can you make yourself known to us please?" and then, right after my dad said that, all of us smelled the fragrant scent! all of us felt relieved and peace, except my oldest brother who is shocked and a bit scared. because, like i said, all of us (except big bro) were already smelling the scent from time to time whenever we pass by that spot on the stairs. then for a bit, we tried to make sense where the scent is coming from; did someone spilled perfume? was someone outside who passes by with the sampaguita flower? (unlikely due to how our house was covered and filtered). 5 of us in my family experienced it; from different times, and at that one time when we were all gathered. safe to say that i can confirm this 100% and this truly cemented my belief of the afterlife.

In my early 20's my grandmother was dying of cancer in the hospital. I spent all my free time with her in her room and would even sleep in the chair there. One night my dad and older brother and sister showed up. They said I looked like crap. My dad asked if I had eaten anything today. I hadn't, so he said lets go to the cafeteria. We headed for the elevator and I pushed the button. As I stood there a breeze hit me in the face, it smelled like a spring day but this was in the winter. I instantly got a vivid picture in my head of a beautiful valley with snow capped mountains and a field of flowers near a river. I then heard my grandmas voice say "Don't worry, this is where I am." I turned and said "Did you guys hear that?" They looked at me confused and I told them what just happened. My dad said "Man, you really need to go home and get some rest, you're hallucinating." I took my dads advice and went home that night. My grandmother was in a coma at the time and died that night.

The barber shop one is actually really easy. It is immediately apparent that it is a very high production value video. That either means a one man channel run by an absolute savant, or editors and effects artists and stuff. While putting the video together, the editor composited multiple shots into the scene you see there. A common tactic to loop a background is to play it forward, then in reverse. A simple enough shot, like blurry people in the background, is a perfect candidate for this, because most people don't look that closely at these details. When the editor finalized the scene to go into the actual video, the background in that area was playing in reverse. Her disappearing is simply the result of that being the end of the looped clip. Ask the editor if he caught a ghost while going through the scenes.

In Kitchen Nightmares, the thing I find hard to explain is how some objects fly upwards. I suppose, if they were pulled on a string, and met another object, that would force them to go upwards before flying out of a cabinet or drawer. But when what about when they are on a flat surface?

Haircut Harry is renowned for editing the background of his videos. He’s made a video on his channel explained it all.
There are several examples where there is no reflection in the mirrors (when their should be) or the figures in the mirror are doing something totally different to what’s happening in the chair.

My boyfriend died when I was 16, I had a radio in my room that displayed words randomly when turned off… it would read CD…CASSETTE…RADIO… in go in a loop of those words. Before or after his funeral i can’t remember which, I was alone with my best friend in my room, and we were talking about my boyfriend, when the display just started reading… ok…. ok…. ok. We cried so hard. I took it as a sign he was ok..

I'm sorry about the loss of your great-grandma. I am glad that she did something to let you all know she was moving on and maybe that was her way of saying goodbye.
My grandma was 95 when she passed away last year. She had a stroke and never woke up. Just like your great-grandma, my grandma was a spitfire until the end. I too was sure she would live to 100.
As she was in bed passing away, surrounded by family, everyone in the room realized they could smell my grandpa's aftershave. He had passed away in 1993 of cancer at the age of 67. Some people said they felt his presence still in the house he'd shared with my grandma. My dad included. My dad is an empath. Even though my dad was their son-in-law, my grandparents loved him like a son and continued to even after he and my mom divorced and became estranged. He was especially close to my grandpa, and he would still come around and do odd jobs for my grandma. Odd jobs that my grandpa used to do when he was alive. And my dad said he could always feel "Pap" still around.
Both my dad and my mom were in the room with other friends and family when my grandma when she passed away. My parents are estranged. They do not get along. But for the sake of my dad's affection for my grandma, my mom strained herself to just button her lip and let him stay. I was not there because I'm in another state. I visited her just a couple weeks before her fatal stroke. I heard from both my mom and dad on separate phone calls that they smelled Grandpa's aftershave. Again, these people are estranged and hate each other. They would never agree on anything. There's no way they would have conspired to make such a story up. If they smelled his aftershave, then they did. My mom told me, "My daddy never went anywhere without wearing that musk. He wore it ever since I was a little girl. I know my daddy came and took my momma home." And my dad, the empath, told me "I felt Pap at that house since his death but that was the first time since his lifetime that I ever smelled his cologne. And after Mam died, I didn't feel any presences in that house anymore, and that musk faded away. He must have wanted to dress up nice for your grandma."

My ghost story isn’t particularly exciting. My great aunt had passed away. I lived in a different state than her so we often exchanged letters. She was also the first death of a loved one I experienced. At her funeral service, I thought I saw an orb (about the size of a baseball maybe and blue in color) in the corner of the church. I blinked and it was gone. I shrugged it off at the time. A week later, my grandpa (her brother) received a phone call from a wrong number at the same time she would routinely call him. My grandparents also mentioned finding roses or rose themed items in odd places as well as “pennies from heaven” which they attributed to her. Finally a year after her funeral, I saw another orb (larger this time and gold) outside my bedroom window. It rose up and burst into a bunch of sparks. The next day there was a ring of bird feathers in the yard where I had approximated the orb to be. I like to think she was checking in on us over the year.

The lady in red video, if you watch after she disappears, you can see something similar in color at the very bottom of the window go back the other way then move up like she bent down, crawling fast to the left where she came from, them gets up after she’s almost out of sight..only it moves really fast..way faster than she could probably do that in real time (as a human)
Watch again, slow the speed if u need to

The Ghost In Red. As soon as you see the woman "disappears," it looks like someone/thing ducks down and crawls back the way she came. You can see a shadow at the bottom of the window, then as soon as it makes it to the wall, it/then stand back up. You can see it better when the scene is blown up starting at 6:36.

My grandmother told me about a time after her sister in law died, they had the screen door open and shut at the same time every day, as if she was coming to visit. And I think she said other things happened that I don't remember. But I remember her saying that after her husband, my grandpa, passed, all of that specific paranormal activity ceased. So it seems like her spirit was waiting for her brother, who had always been her protector in life.... Then after a while we would experience paranormal things that we think is my Pa, but it's hard to explain to people who haven't experienced paranormal activity or lived in a haunted house. I understand it's hard for many people to believe things like that. I'm usually skeptical overall and always looking to debunk anything before assuming anything lol

The walking backwards woman is just a digital trick. If you look closely after she is gone you see at the border of the window the real woman going forwards. It was just cropped out and putting in reverse before she would really appear. If you overline the border of the window part of her walking forward and the part in the window where she is walking backwards you can even see the dimension of the cropped out area.
