“Try different foods”!! Ever since I started cruising my policy has been “if I’ve never had it, or if I can’t pronounce it...try it!” Never been disappointed.
I did a lot of what was said in this video when I was on the Carnival Triumph. I really enjoyed the trivia games especially when it comes to music. They had 50/60s music, 80s music, 90s music, Harry Potter trivia, Superheroes trivia, and TV theme shows trivia. I did arts and crafts. That was fun. I have to say about the 80s and 90s music trivia. Their were soo many people there since it was at night and loved that our cruise director had us participating. Either its playing air guitar, singing alot, running in place etc. It was soo much fun. Oh I won two of those ship on a stick for knowing 50s/60s music and 80s music trivia. I almost won 90s music. I couldn't sleep in. My body was telling me at 6:00am that it was time to get up. I agree on comfortable shoes. I'm not a scandals or shorts kind of person so I wore tennis shoes and jeans majority of my time on the cruise. I broke my ankle last year and it was hard to walk around the ship, but I made it through. lol I did do a karaoke and comedy club while I was there. That was soo much fun. Since I was celebrating my 20th High School class reunion on the cruise, one of my classmates took a lot of our pictures. When we did elegant night, she took our pictures and also our group picture from that night. IT did save us a lot of money. I only bought one picture from the professional and that was when they took our picture when you are waiting to get on the boat. I used the app to see what was happening each day and also saved what I wanted to do. I would loved to go on another cruise. My 40th Birthday is in 2 years and I would love to go again with a few of my friends. I did find one cruise that was sailing during my birthday. I need to start saving.
I actually enjoyed doing the opposite of number nineteen on my cruise. It is beautiful to watch the sunrise from the top decks. Plus, you can go in the hot tub or go eat at the buffet before the lines are packed with everyone on the ship.
The most important thing to do on your list is "BE NICE". Be nice to everybody. It doesn't cost anything to be nice. It doesn't take much effort to be nice. However, the simple act of being nice to people around you by sharing a smile, saying a kind word, holding a door open, or helping somebody who appears to need some help can brighten up a person's day and perhaps make them happy when they may have been sad or feeling a bit down. You will also be happier when the folks around you are happy.
Go on the bumper cars. On the RCI Anthem Seaplex was the first time I'd ever gone on bumper cars at sea. The We Will Rock You theatre show, featuring Queen songs, was phenomenal.
My wife gets super annoyed if I stay up late. It was the cause of our only fight on our last cruise :-(And YES plan your day. Lectures and language lessons, and free casino credits are a big one for the wife and me. I do it the night before so I don't accidentally sleep thru it or go to breakfast.
Have you guys explored the "secret" or "hidden" decks? It's my understanding that several Carnival ships do have them, not sure about other lines. If so, can you pls do a video on them? Tx so much. LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!
Hi guys, love these tips! When we took our first cruise, we came home exhausted from not wanting to miss anything on the ship but LOVED it! Eleven cruises later, we have learned to pace ourselves, kinda! Have a great time this week on your cruise :)
I enjoy the show I also have the one drink of the day Enjoy meeting new people. Some have been nice and not so nice. Never order room service. Wow I didn’t know that about the tip Thank you for advice
I like to always go to the back of the ship as we sail away. I also like to check out the other ships when in port, especially if it's ships I've never seen before.
Explore the ports, try a shore excursion, and interact with the locals. Buy a gift for yourself or someone else. Try juggling on the lido! Love the videos, keep em coming. Tony and Pam.
Went to sea day brunch last cruise. Finally had eggs Benedict. Hated it but now I can honestly say I don’t like it.(runny eggs😐) On the up side tried conch fritters in Grand Cayman. 👍🏾 On one cruise I won a raffle for $250.00 of spa services.
Love watching the old videos!!! 🥰🥰🥰
Exploring the ship is the greatest activity ever, and it's FREE! Love walking around and exploring and people watching.
“Try different foods”!! Ever since I started cruising my policy has been “if I’ve never had it, or if I can’t pronounce it...try it!” Never been disappointed.
Great approach! - Tony
Great video! Jenny you look so pretty! Love the videos with both of you! Thank you for all the great tips!
I’ve been watching lots of videos with you guys. Fun couple to watch and listen to.
On the RCI cruise, go on the All Access excursions to see the galleys, engine room, and the bridge.
"People are voice activated"! I love it!

I have never had a spa treatment but it is definitely on my bucket list!

My favorite thing to do is get up early to watch the ship pull into the other ports I love seeing that blue water then I go back to sleep..
Thanks for the advice. Jenny you look so pretty.

I did half of these: 1-3, 5, 12, 14-18, 22 on my cruise this week.
I like to always go to the back of the ship as we sail away. I also like to check out the other ships when in port, especially if it's ships I've never seen before.

Those all good suggestions. I do need to pack some juggling balls for the next cruise. - Tony

Loved to eat in MDR, and if you like wine with dinner I highly recommend purchasing the wine package ahead of time. It worked out great for us.Steve

Hi Jenny and Tony! How do I get more info on the group cruises you have planned, cost, deposit itinerary, you know, everything!
Hey Dale shoot us an email at travel@lalidoloca.com
We like to sit on the top deck and star gaze after dinner
Sherla Dixon oh yes ⭐️ jenny
Is Cornhole allowed in the staterooms?
Off topic but I think that cruise ships should have snow cone machines or stations
QUESTION: do you have sign up or register for the activities like rock climbing or mini golf
Piano Bar is fun.
go to the port shopping talk so u try & win a gift & get good info on shopping in port.
Do you think it's ok if I bring an acoustic guitar?
Kelly Clark sure! I saw a couple guests with instruments during check in on my last cruise.
Are the shows free?
Yes
OMG, room service is the BEST!
Mrs. Jenny, very pretty. Sir you blessed
I collect autographs from the crew members...
Unfortunately all of the cruise ships charge for room service now.
Your other video said it’s dumb to use the pool now you say do it??
That other video said basically everything is dumb to do. The point of it was to push back against the folks that tell you how to cruise. :) - Tony
Note to self: chocolate milk
you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. That's the phrase.
