DIY Bobby Pin Distressed Jeans
Вставка
- Опубліковано 31 жов 2013
- TIPS:
1. Make sure the bobby pin you use is sturdy!
2. If your jeans are already light like mine were and you don't want them as light as I did, use only about 1-2 cups of bleach. You can always add more if you want them lighter
3. Have fun with this project!

this is probably the simplest and most effective distressing video I've seen on this site, so resourceful. Perfect for small details on your denim!! THANKS
+Crazzy Aadeez It's the material you use for jeans
+Crazzy Aadeez it´s like soft jeans..thin jeans

OMFG! I *LOVE* the scraping sound of the bobby pin against the jeans! I have no idea why but it just sounds so soothing!
I literally almost fell asleep during this!
ASMR.
I think we have the same name lol
*WHY IS THIS SO EASY FOR EVERYONE ELSE BUT I HAVE BEEN SITTING IN MY DINING ROOM TABLE FOR 30 MINUTES TRYING TO DISTRESS MY JEANS?!!*
SunshineLife RobloxRoleplays actually same it isn’t working and i just ruined a pair of jeans
XD
lmao loser

I used sandpaper and it worked really good. I've also used a wire grill brush and it took less time.

Holy smokes this is by far the easiest yet best-looking distressing I've seen! Everybody else got these lengthy, multi-tool-and-step tutorials that don't even look that great when finished. Yours is the best! Thanks for the wonderful idea! :)
Thank you for sharing this. This is brilliant. Other tutoriales with twezers looks so diy lolif you know what i mean. This look like the ones you buy. Thank you!
Sdfcbnbhukkkklllllkkkkkkkpponnnn .
Arianna Jones I agree
+Arianna Jones I agree aswell
Loved your DIY. This has been the easiest distressed jeans tutorial that I've watched so far and I like how you lighten the jeans. I'm definitely going to do this. I have the exact same pair of Levis.
Kristen, no, it didn't disrupt the back part of the jeans. One caveat though, I used a pair of vintage Levi jeans - which were very durable.
Post moré !!😭
Nia B.
Does it matter if the jean is stretchy?
Will it rip open more if you put it in the washer?
No it won't it'll just take out the pieces that are laying on the jeans
Yessir
wash them in your bathtub bcuz they are mostly likely to rip!
Exactly what I have been looking for! All the other videos that people have made seem to overdo the "stressing". But your method is just perfect! Thank you very much for posting!!
Wrapping masking tape around the bobby pin makes it more comfortable to hold
This was so Helpful!! I cannot begin to thank you!! You see i wanted white washed jeans with tears in them. But i didnt want to cut the tears because it looked to odd and clean. But thanks to you now it looks worn out and it looks like it was so much money when in reality i did the cuts myself! Thank you again Nia B.
Would this work on darker jeans? Preferably black? Dark blue?
It works, trust me
no it doesnt it just causes problems i litterly stabbed myself and used the jeans to clean up the blood😖
Paigedil Productions probably
Yuppppp
color doesn’t affect literally anything
I am planning to distress a pair of old jeans and I really like this method...Thanks for sharing
This is one of the best tutorials i’ve seen. i got jeans that went ripped to rip them because it’s cheaper and the scissors and tweezers isn’t giving me the look i want but this looks like what i want. thank you so much
most helpful video I've found I love it! :) thanks so much for sharing
same...
Alessandra North yes
Thanks for this tutorial....i did it in just few minutes. Wow, i saved 400 pesos by just following your tips with the use of an old jeans of my husband. Am now set for tomorrow's Wild West costume Christmas party. God bless.
Was the party fun?
Seriously thank you! this method totally works.
This is by far one of the best results videos i've seen... i have watched so many videos and its like they're all the same...Great job...love em..
OMG....Glad I kept looking to going different ways to distress my jeans! this looks like it takes less time then tweasing them!! Thanks for sharing
This method it the Best I have seen yet! really gave me the actually look I want. The other DIY method you can tell the distress is "homemade". Thanks
ok so i love the way u figured out another way of doing the jeans......I myself think found another way that i feel is faster and easy also . I would like u to try it as well and let me know what u think..... i got my foot scrub from 99 cent store the one looks metal on one side and a file on the other .....i tried it and for the first time ever and i like how they came out.. For it being my first time ever trying to do the jean thing.....
This works sooo good especially when you put them in the washer after you do this. My American eagle jeans were already distressed and I distressed them some more myself and you can’t even tell
This is the best video I've watched on this too...I tried it right away on some legs of jeans I had just cut off to make shorts....this is totally solving my problem of not being able to find my 11 yo DD distressed jeans for back-to-school...Thank you for making me a hero (in my daughter's eyes anyway) ☺ PS for anyone wondering, this totally works on Children's place jeans and I did not bleach them 👍👍
I tried it and I love the outlook of my jeans ☺️
This actually works amazingly! Great job finding such an inventive solution!
They look even better than in the picture. Thank you. You have the best jeans distress videos. thumbs up for sure
Thank god I found this. I needed these "type" of pants for my birthday outfit but they cost way to much. I'm glad I found this.
can I use this idea for any non branded jeans too???
genius. Like the look so much better than the regular distressed jeans I saw so far. Go bobby pins!
Definitely will be trying, this is the best diy I've seen on distressing and we got a freebie on lightening jeans, thanks!
i literally took the bobby-pin out my head LMFAOAOAOAO
How long did it take to did it, great idea using a hair grip!
I tired it with my detail razor and it works magically thanks for the tip really saved me cash
this helped so much at first i was scared but this was so easy and my jeans look good ! thank you so much
Thanks so much for the tips. my jeans came out great. I've been searching for a DIY method that didn't leave holes in my jeans
Can these be used on stretchy jeans? Thanks great video
OMG this works soo good and now my jeans look nice

I used a pair of already distressed jeans that I wanted more distressed and it worked so fast. It's so easy too

Hi Nia! my daughter has a TAP PERFORMANCE for the holidays and needs "holey/distressed" jeans... THIS is definitely a BIG HELP... TY so much!!! xo lala
I have watched afew distressing jeans videos and this is the best one, im deffo trying this out xx
Does this really work on any pair of jeans? I'm so scared to try it out because I've seen other videos with tweezers so I tried it out and it only messed up my jeans.
Your doing really great I prefer this over the blade ❤️
yo! this is way better than tweezers thanks gurl!!!!
Alyssa Valdovinos you typically can just pick the ball off the end with your fingers
hey will it work well not work but will it look good for a guy wearing distressed jeans like that
Thank you soooooo much for doing this. I've seen other videos, but this video far out beats the others.

So much better than other videos ive seen!
can you use sandpaper to do this?
Can you use jeggings??
It's awsome I love the method it worked
I can't get the thing off the end of my Bobby pin :(
Just bite it
some of the bobby pins dont have it maybe go to dollarama and buy new ones...
E Akhlasi I'm American we don't have dollarama lol
You gotta scrap it off
Use scissors and it’ll work
How do you pull the bulb off ?
This works I did it I always tried using a razor and tweezers but this work and it's so fast but instead of a bobby pin I used the piece if metal out of a fuller
