- This week I'm back with my buddy's JK installing a set of JW Speaker LED headlights and indicator lights. This install went surprisingly easy and quick. I've never driven a Jeep equipped with LED headlights so I was astounded by what happened.

The factory JK lights are like driving with a pair of candles sitting on the bumper but when you said JW Speaker my wallet cried out in pain LOL
I installed these JW Speaker projector beam headlights on a 2013 and a 2016 Wrangler which had stock incandescents. They are nice looking in the daytime, and very functional at night. For those of you who wish to not blind people are hill crest's so much, you can aim the lights down a bit more. Just make sure to never drive so fast at night that you can't stop in the distance you can see. Even with a short throw, you will have much better visibility than with stock lights. I give these JW's a thumbs up!

Led headlights are 100% worth every penny.
Quick answer: ABSOLUTELY. Huge difference ! (Just get really good quality for best results).
I got a set of putco luminix arrow type led headlights CHEAP.. what a huge difference! I don't know if name brand matter, but led light are 1000% better on factory JK.. go led, you won't be disappointed.

Good information. Also, LED uses much less amper's than incandescent lamps do. Lightens the load on the alternator for other loads.

I hope one day there is a regulation to diffuse the origin intensity. In the past several years these new headlights have been annoying me. The light is so intense where they come out its like looking at a welding arc flash and it leaves me with a blind spot for a minute like a camera flash went off.

Look to the white line like you are supposed to. The problem is dumb drivers stare into headlights like a moth to a flame. You obviously dont know how to drive or where to look if bright lights come toward you

@ 1:26 - What slider are you using?
If these are installed on something other than a Mall Crawler, should blue LocTite be used on the TurnSignal/Parking Light units? Looks like they could vibrate loose without.
Those headlights must get HOT AS HELL, given the size of the heat sink built into the backs of them.
Anyone with an ATV would be familiar with those retaining clips. Pretty standard on Japanese mfg units.
The nut on the back of the indicator lights has serrations that dig into the plastic clip to keep them from loosening up over time.

How much was the kit and where did you buy it?
I'm not sure of the cost because I didn't purchase these, but if you check JW Speaker's website, I'm sure you can find them.
Long time thought about 7" led head light but on off-road it useless shit on the road I do not really need more than stock light.
also, anyway you will have 50,000 lumen light on to of your windshield like real projector.

Yeah everyone keeps flashing me. But it's my vision that's important. I even had my jeep follow me in my other ride and they are not that even bright to where it hurts your eyes. If your that ignorant to stare at the lights directly, I dont know what to say to you lol.
Jeep follow you? What about Honda Civics or Miata's who sit at your wheel-height and are eye-level with your headlights

What's really impressive is how these aftermarket LED headlamps blind the living snot out of you. I have encountered a number of them on the road, in particular installed in jeeps, that should not be used on road!

Just bought JW Speaker lights for JK for 450.00 but those weren't the latest model which goes for 800 plus. The ones I got are plenty good though and were worth every penny as long as they last a really long time.
this is one of the poorer options in my opinion went led with my truck i just replaced the bulb so factory look with better function i would have done it this way if they wernt so ugly looking
