This is my favorite so far. It has nice details, some technical parts, drum variation/syncopation, with some nice feels coming from the chorus. A thoughtfully made song. I like this one and A New Picture the most. Hopefully they continue improving like this. If you haven’t checked out A New Picture, it would be one to check.
@@squeakychairchannel Just so you know, it is assumed that Koiai are still trying to find their sound (experimenting), while ‘Come See Me’ will actually appear on their upcoming EP, and so is probably more of a representation of how they will sound going forward. I didn’t like some of their older stuff, but A New Picture is very good. Just something to keep in mind.
I really enjoy this song. I hear elements of jazz, especially in the drums and bass. Kotono’s vocals are somewhat pop sounding. The guitars are very progressive sounding. If they were played with nylon strings it would sound very similar to Polyphia, for example. This is possibly my favorite by Koiai. I hope they continue down this fusion path. 💙💙
Prog metal and Jazz with rock and pop rolled into one. It's a brilliant song.
