I have never heard of a tensilon test. Anyways NCLEX next week eeeekkk!!!
How was it?
Hi Sara! The Tensilon test is used to diagnose myasthenia gravis, a condition where muscles become easily fatigued. Good luck with your NCLEX next week! You've got this! If you have any other questions or need clarification, feel free to ask. 😊

Could you give some more strong explanation of Q answer 4...?? Why it isn't Hemoglobin while increased potassium level is an expected feature for a CKD client and must go through the Dialysis if it is abnormally high.
What’s more deadly to the patient?
Dude, hyperkalemia is way more life threatening than low hemoglobin
@@getem7640 great.
Low hemoglobin would indicate low O2 and perfusion and may lead to organ failure. Creatinine, BUN, and Elevated electrolytes are all expected that’s why their on dialysis. Also hemoglobin may be low due to renin not being released so Alfa epoetin may be given. Hemoglobin is the only correct answer for that question.
The amswer should be hemoglobin cause you cannot dialysis a patient with low hemoglobin, UNLESS THE DOCTOR ORDERED A BT DURING HD ON THE OTHER HAND you can and you should dialysis a patient with HIGH POTASSIUM LEVEL AKA HYERKALEMIA thats actually an indication.
Scored four out of five.
You presentation is of great value.
Thank you.
Thank you

Really, you'll know her Too? I even thought I was the only one she has helped walk through the fears and falls of NCLEX Exam, Mrs Melissa has brought me out of theq trenches and to a better living, I encourage repeat test taker to work with her .
yes, it is a crazy test for sure. I also used Mrs Melissa review material's, and I studied for 1 week and my test shut off at 85 questions. I cried too when I got my results. PASS
#4 i thought is serum creatinine
I understand your reasoning, but the key phrase to look at in the question is “initiating dialysis”, so you have to think what lab will reflect that the patient need dialysis. Creatinine wouldn’t be it bc elevated levels indicate kidney damage, which the patient already has. Another reason for patients to be on dialysis is severely high potassium levels. Their kidneys can excrete potassium bc they’re in failure, so extreme high levels of potassium is one of the key indicators for emergent dialysis ! I hope this helps!
5/5 😊
