I love this video (and all of your videos). This lets me see and practice the swing sequence that everybody talks about, but nobody teaches. This is the first time I've actually seen all of the pieces put together, and in the proper order... THANK YOU!!!
I have been trying to do this, my main guide has been the videos (films) of Ben Hogan and a few UA-cam Golf Gurus. Your A B C progress makes a good model to follow. Good work Alex.
Hey Alex great video yet again but I need to ask how far do you drop B before you start C as I think this is where I’m over or under adjusting before starting C. Thx Andrew from Aus
Thanks for this because I went to the driving range today and was so inconsistent. Pretty sure I am trying to hit from the top and not lower my arms first. Going to work on the B part next time. Thanks so much🥰
I have said this so many times to you already, but I say it again, thanks for the amazing content. One thing I think that nobody ever talks about is that distance between your hands and your body at the bottom of B and how you maintain it through the entire swing. Woukd be great to hear your thoughts on how you maintain it so accurately that you can hit so many dead center shots.
Hi Alex! Love your videos and all you do to help us with our game! I sometimes go into a round and for some reason tend to pull my driver and irons. What is going on and how can I stop this pulling. Thanks Mark form Montreal Canada
10:30. Alex, I accidentally rolled my left arm on my take away and hit the crispest iron shot of my golfing life (30+yrs). I have continued this arm roll and I am very pleased with results. What are your thoughts??? Thank you in advance Ray.
Hey Alex, can you recommend a task that would help me draw and fade the golf ball? Also, how to hit a high shot low shot? I find it difficult to think about technique over a task. Thanks again for all your amazing videos!!!
Many thanks Alex Tried ABC this afternoon at the range and I think you may be right.😊Need to keep looking for the “feeling” and the sequence, especially B but with the wrist cocked for as long as possible.
It should be D, roll of the wrist. Once you're at B, if you rotate the hip/shoulders to target, the club face will be square at impact. The roll of the wrist, aka the release, happens after impact... D
Alex, I have a terrible time trying to make easy putts! I seem to get the distance pretty well, but I always miss putts to the left or right side of the hole. What would you recommend? Thanks!
Hi Alex, great video BTW Any chance you can do a video on green reading and the different methods that are used and exactly what is happening when someone is Plumb bobbing ? Or Using aim point ? And so on.
I’ve seen some data that says your putter arc doesn’t change much with a blade vs mallet. Do you have any special input on this. I thought I needed a big mallet to control and paid too much for it. I played 4 months and practiced a lot. The feel never improved. Took the aim point course. I just tried a PLD blade anser 2d putter for 30 minutes. What a dream. It was like autopilot for the swing in comparison. What gives? Any insight on how to think. Lots of confusing information out there
Thanks Alex, definitely gonna try this. Two questions, 1. Is this swing for driver only or will it work with Irons also? 2. How far do you let the arms fall in the B position before you start turning your hips in the C position? In the video it looks almost 3/4 of the way down. Thanks for the great content!
Alex, thanks for all your content. What I really need is one piece of the pie for my swing. I need to learn how to line up properly to the ball square to the Target. I noticed I’m tentatively always closed with my feet to the Target and watching other amateurs playing the game. I noticed that they’re always closed to the target in general. I’ve tried everything I could think of a rhythmic pattern and it always reverts back to being closed to the Target, which is killing my swing Can you go through a video how to lineup properly consistently square to your target
Can you discuss in detail where face strike on the ball results in the different spins and directions for the ball? A perfect center strike should give the optimal straight ball flight.
This is great but I’ve got a different problem for your attention. I do A and B but then get stuck in B. From there my swing path at the ball is on a clock face is between 1 & 2 o-clock which means I have to rescue it with my hands. This makes my tee shots ( every club from 7iron - Driver) very inconsistent.
Great video. Following your tips and techniques is really helping. But there still are plenty of times when the ball is still topped, hit three inches behind or lost deep in the woods. How about a video about the mental side of the game. What's the best way to forget about a bad shot or hole and not let it destroy your round? Just forgetting it and moving on is easier said than done.
I’m a senior golfer and struggling with carry distance, average carry only 170 yds. I’ve corrected my slice with a stronger grip, more weight on my lead foot(60/40) swinging more from the inside. My problem now is a low left ball path, good roll, not much carry. Any advice?
I’ve watched your videos for about 3 months now and your tips have helped, however I’m still having an issue with distance and slice which I’ve found the only way to stop slicing is taking my right thumb out of use causing more strain on my wrist in the downswing which is giving me straighter shots but not the distance I want. Please help
Hey Alex- Wouldn’t B simply be, just keeping your back to the target until after you drop your arms? This move stops the over the top move… And C being your arms move your body on C?
This seems like good advice but I’ve also seen contrary advice saying the body needs to start to move to initiate downswing and the downswing needs to “lag” the body turn.
Alex brilliant. 'so easy' your A, B and C !!! If that would be ' so easy' I wouldn’t have watched you!! 😅😅 If we, that your ABC could make that 'easy' then you would watch me in TV playing PGA!! 😂😂😂 Thanks a lot Alex. Keep going.
Alex, I can hit the ball straight but most of the time it’s either straight to the right or straight to left of my target. …how do I straighten myself out? Thanks Dennis
How wrong was i what I'm doing wrong I was always thinking ACb how stupid am I oh no I know it's ABC what was i thinking im now a professional What a moppet u r
Dude, how TF are you wearing long sleeves & a vest??? You REALLLYYYYY need to get back across the drink to the states & the warm weather & desert golf.
*You have to use Jim’s sequence because I know follow the A,B,C move is the way to do it! Follow this now everyone*
Great tempo sequence! Started doing this last year and I am consistently hitting more greens and fairways. Thanks for the great videos Alex.
Extremely good video. Once I am back up and golfing I will be trying this on the range.
I am struggling my whole career with the right sequence. This abc sequence is just what I was looking for. Simply brilliant 🎉 Thanks Alex

You're so welcome!
Your ABC pre-shot worked perfect for. Simple and concise - improve my ability to maintain focus.
Thanks Alex for this tip. I wonder if you shouldn’t start shifting down and to the left earlier, at B?
I have this exact problem, this is a great easy way to help me remember the tempo - thanks for a simple way to work on it.
I have been trying to do this, my main guide has been the videos (films) of Ben Hogan and a few UA-cam Golf Gurus. Your A B C progress makes a good model to follow. Good work Alex.

A great video Alex I like how simple you made the sequence I also like the checkpoints you gave us

can you comment on club face position at A (top of golf swing), thanks!

Hi Alex, excellent info, was pulling a lot of shots and I'm sure I was out of sequence. I will use this tomorrow and should work for irons too.
10:30.

Coach this formula is also for iron?
Would you have a drill for feel better the “B point”? Thanks
Great work !
Wonderful hit man ...ill be trying this as a leftythis week🎉🎉
Nice video, makes sense. The transition from B to C is the tricky part. Gonna need some practice.
Many thanks Alex

Hey buddy I have the Taylormade mini brn do you think it's OK for a driver and fairway wood.
Hey Alex can you do this same concept video but on putting with tempo etc thanks keep up the great work

Hi Alex, great video BTW
Any chance you can do a video on green reading and the different methods that are used and exactly what is happening when someone is Plumb bobbing ? Or Using aim point ? And so on.
i will try and cover this on another video for sure 🙌🏼

it could work with irons yes, i would advise if you try snd re-watch the swing and literally copy it, it really helps!
@@AlexElliottGolfThanks!

Hey Alex, love your content is really been helpful. Can you do a video on a good pre shot routine amateur should have
i will try and cover this on another video for sure 🙌🏼
I'll saying A,B ,C and I'll still be hooking my driver...I'll let you know how I get on in my comp at Altrincham GC on Sunday Alex
Can you discuss in detail where face strike on the ball results in the different spins and directions for the ball?

Can you give us some bloopers ❤️. You always strike it pure. Maybe you can’t play bad ? Greetings from Sweden 😊
I needed this video so badly. Thanks
you are so helpful to us all. brilliant
Alex
Can the ABC sequence be used for the irons as well?
Yes!
Alex, how can get more solid strikes with my irons?
I’m a senior golfer and struggling with carry distance, average carry only 170 yds. I’ve corrected my slice with a stronger grip, more weight on my lead foot(60/40) swinging more from the inside. My problem now is a low left ball path, good roll, not much carry. Any advice?

Excellent tip. Thanks much
This is exactly what I have been working on. Long way to go.
I like that. I do the C before the B sometimes.
When is a golf ball you use dead? Sometimes I fail to lose a ball before it looks tired. Is it still good to play?
Simple but getting it coordinated is the challenge.
What part of ABC generates the most power/speed or is it the complete combination of these?
Complete combo!!
Did you switch from cobra? I see your using Qi10 driver.
yeah! well spotted
I’ve watched your videos for about 3 months now and your tips have helped, however I’m still having an issue with distance and slice which I’ve found the only way to stop slicing is taking my right thumb out of use causing more strain on my wrist in the downswing which is giving me straighter shots but not the distance I want. I've been told for years and years to start the downswing with the hips turn, i.e., C before B. No wonder I get the results I get.
Having Back surgery in a couple of weeks. After I heal up I will try this out.

For every UA-cam swing "tip" there's a contrary one, 'tis the way of the world.
Hey Alex, if this reitree 3 handicap flies over, can we play 18 in between toy busy day and fatherhood
Brilliant!
Alex brilliant.
'so easy' your A, B and C !!!
If that would be ' so easy' I wouldn’t have watched you!! 😅😅
If we, that your ABC could make that 'easy' then you would watch me in TV playing PGA!! 😂😂😂
Thanks a lot Alex. Keep going.
Hello I'm John Madden and I would like to see if you could come to Gainesville FL and help me to get a lot better with playing golf
My irons are beautiful. My woods I pop up high. Think I stand too close and hit drives like irons
I like this 👍
Alex, I can hit the ball straight but most of the time it’s either straight to the right or straight to left of my target. …how do I straighten myself out?
Thanks Dennis
as in you find your body isn’t straight / ready when hitting a shot?
Who is Jim?
Don't forget everyone, this question was asked by Californian Travel 🤔
Alex, age has something to do with it. You are a young man. 73 yrs old don't make it. I watch all your tips anyways. Thanks for the it.
Every day a new way to hit the golf ball, I need to being my laptop to the course in order to keep track of them all. So tiresome!
How wrong was i what I'm doing wrong I was always thinking ACb how stupid am I oh no I know it's ABC what was i thinking im now a professional What a moppet u r
How lovely
LIE ANGLE
Everyone knows how the loft affects the shots, but not too many people understand the importance of a correct lie angle.
Come on bro, WTF, no shame in these click-bait titles bro!?!?!? Don't get caught up in that bs and you will have a respectable user base!
Dude, how TF are you wearing long sleeves & a vest???
You REALLLYYYYY need to get back across the drink to the states & the warm weather & desert golf.
