  • Check out the Teenage Engineering Pocket Operator PO-14 Sub - www.pmtonline....
    In this video, Sam provides a complete Pocket Operator PO-14 Sub tutorial and demo and shows us how to make music straight out of the box.
    This great Bass synth gets a full run down from Sam, as he explores the fat bass lines, 15 synth tones and the micro drum machine with 16 sampled drum sounds. Learn how to select sounds, use the sequencer and create your own patterns.
    Featuring a real synth engine, step sequencer, and some really cool animated graphics the Teenage Engineering PO-14 Sub Bass Synth has immense personality and thanks to sync, FX and parameter locks it certainly isn't out of place in a larger studio.
    The Pocket Operator series from Teenage Engineering provide synth enthusiasts and producers a huge range of great features previously unseen in a package so small.

    Just got my my first PO and went with this one but couldn’t figure it out. Great tutorial. Once you know what everything does it’s pretty easy. Tryna get it synced with my Volca Sample now. Haha. That’s a whole other video. 😂

    • @spot1119
      @spot1119 2 роки тому +1

      @@GullySyde28 yeah you can sync Volcas and Pocket operators using an aux cord. Also something cool, you can sync your PO with the Koala app on your phone. There’s lots of tutorials here on YT showing you how if you wanna do it.

      @@spot1119 Sweet! I just installed Koala on my phone and have been meaning to get into it, seeing how I want to check out sampling before getting the new Roland SP404. It looks cool AF but at the same time I'm asking myself if I'll really use it or not

    • @spot1119
      @spot1119 2 роки тому +1

      @@jaxager the new SP looks so dope! They’re just starting to arrive they have so many back orders right now. I’m gonna get one too to go with my mc101 and MV1. Think that’d be a cool setup. I Use the Koala app to just get quick ideas out or if I’m bored and don’t wanna or can’t fire up my gear.

    • @jaxager
      @jaxager 2 роки тому

      @@spot1119 I have an MC101 too. I'm wondering how it would best be integrated into my current workflow though. I have the MC101, a TR-8S, and various other synths. Since I got the TR-8S and the 101 I pretty much haven't touched any of my other gear. Lol.
      How do you like the Verse Lab? It looks cool but I think I'm going to just save for a 707 after the holidays (buying presents is killing my bank account...). And I keep coming so close to getting the MX-1. Everyone says it is so much more than a mixer. It does like bad ass. But, at 650 bucks... It better be REALLY bad ass.

    Hi, Can anyone tell me how to save a song on this please?
    The pdf manual doesn't cover it, yet it clearly saves songs as it always goes back to the same one when I turn it on again.
    It'd be fine if it just didn't save at all and gave a blank canvas every time as I could just record it externally, but I have to clear every single pattern in the default song before I can start creating a new one.
    Your help would be much appreciated :O)

    • @ThufirHarrison
      @ThufirHarrison 2 роки тому

      I think you save it as samples which you then play in order you select then you use a seperate device via the headphone aux to record onto.
