I have visited Ghana 4 times since 2019, and I always stay in Cantonments as a base before going to neighboring countries outside of Ghana. I love Cantonments, but I do think think it’s overrated. If I didn’t have business dealings in Accra, I’d prefer neighborhoods in the Volta lake, Kwahu, Ada, Kokrobite and Aburi areas. These other areas are much nicer and less expensive.

The city is too dusty. Advise the public to add greenery to their homes. Plant trees and green grass to help with the climate.
