I do agree that Sills, Gencer, Sutherland and Caballé performed oustanding Donizetti´s queens. However, who dares to admit the perfection and breathtaking notes given by Ms Gruberova? Her voice goes beyond human limits...

Goodness her soft tone and stacatos in between holds the other singers of the ensemble back to really sing. It also seems that some notes she doesn't sing at all just as always pulls her face as if smelling dog poo. No never liked the timbre of her voice and style of singing.

I do hear some Era Desso in the lines. Gruberova is indeed a dramatic coloratura soprano.
The final note is not the one that is required at this aria. Great work, but not enough.
