hi Matt. 7.25 large WOW tree, stands out in size from the rest of the surrounding markers.Elaborate , nice details, the 4 basic elements are there;even the name is in wooddesign ( branches). 7.47 smaller WOW tree; great details ; basic elements are there.Enjoyed this episode with a great variety of markers, most interesting are the historic ones. Thanks for sharing Matt.
Do you ever make it down here to the Bloomington area? We have some beautiful cemeteries. My favorites are Rose Hills (especially one grave adorned with MASSIVE geodes) and the small cemetery in Yellowwood State Forest. We visited the one in Yellowwood when we first moved here and many of the monuments had been knocked over...but we went again recently and it had been restored and repaired! Amazing. 😊
Looking at all those beefy stones it makes me wonder if there was a lot of money in the area in the past. I see a lot of heavy Granite. What was the name of the cemetery?
This may be a long shot, but here goes: I wonder if the gates of the cemetery may have been removed during World War II when there was a need for metal to be melted down and recycled for the war effort.
A train going by a graveyard was a good closing scene. 😁👍

Is this a older video? It seems familiar Matt " It's cool thanks❤
They are Woodsmen markers. They had to qualify for the marker.
There always seem to be train tracks near cemeteries. I wonder why.

Very interesting concept, never thought of it! Sounds possible, but no clue.
and headstone with no death dates inscribed 1851 = 173 yrs alive lol
