I think you need to update the video about the slime farm for bedrock edition that u made. U mentioned to dig down to y level 5, and to build the farm at that level, probably because that is the lowest you can get the farm to be at time you uploaded it. I think you might need to update the video.
hey, i found a better way to trick them into going into the hole. use powdered snow. it refuses to melt in the neather and they still think its a solid block
If you don't want to use lava, put carts with hoppers and blocks of netherrack or soul sand on top of the hoppers and set them on fire, since the carts with hoppers absorb the waste too quickly. Drops though it burns them
If you replace the lava with 9 soul campfires (or normal campfires) you will get raw pork instead (good for trading to butchers for emeralds). If you want some cooked, just open the farm and you can put up to 36 pork on the campfires and when they finish the system will pick them up. You can also use a shovel to temporarily put out the fires and slaughter the hoglins manually for XP and increased drops from Looting.
Q: Why is it necessary for the spawn platform to be high above the kill chamber? Isn’t the lava in the kill chamber going to kill the mobs regardless of the fall height?

Is there a need for the glass because my farm has gone into the top netherack part of the nether and there are normal blocks instead. Will this affect the rates? Also will it being on the roof in general affect anything?

Exactly how many blocks on the lava lake do I have to build out for this Hoglin Farm? I'm trying to verify how many blocks I need to build out in order to be in the right spot for this farm...
I waisted so much materials and I did step by step! None spawn idk what I’m doing wrong “UPDATE “ I got it now!! Pro Tip make sure your lava lake is big so you don’t cover as much with slabs little to none is the best because they spawn in like crazy. The first one I made there was land around the platform , the bigger the lake and no land in the way or floating islands the more they spawn in

u cud also use signs and move lava up one block and the issue

Piglins will only spawn within a radius of blocks depending upon your simulation distance

they can spawn on slabs if its a full block, you have to put the slap right on top of another block so it dosnt count as a full block
