Tijdens een gedachtewisseling met enkele niet academisch geschoolden werd ik gewezen op de zinloosheid van mijn interesse in allerlei maatschappelijke ontwikkelingen : “waar heb je dat dan voor nodig ?”
Eén en ander moet blijkbaar nuttig zijn ; kun jij me aan argumentatie helpen ?

Rutte zit er niet voor het land. Hij zit er voor zichzelf en de belangen van zijn 'vrinden'.
Volgens mij zit Rutte er nog steeds voor de belangen van Unilever
Helaas en natuurlijk ook voor Shell. Totale overheidscorruptie. Alleen al in Nigeria zegge een miljard aan steekpenningen. Volkomen onwettig, zelfs strafbaar. Rutte heeft maar 18,6 % van de stemmen. Maar dankzij de meelopers alle macht.
En dat terwijl de meerderheid van de bevolking minder dan het gemiddelde inkomen verdiend en dus van de voedselbank en andere vormen van bedeling leeft.
INGEZONDEN VRAAG: Zou Van Rossem kunnen toelichten waarom hij niks ziet in de bitcoin?
Omdat hij in Paul Kruger geloofd. De man die ook voorspelde dat het internet nooit wat zou worden. 1 tip: doe precies het omgekeerde wat een historicus voorspeld. Rossem is totale noob

Wat dr. Van Rossem zegt klopt volgens mij niet: de ChristenUnie heeft de motie van wantrouwen tegen de heer Rutte niet gesteund. Dan had deze motie immers een meerderheid gekregen in de tweede kamer. De heer Segers heeft echter een aantal dagen later gezegd dat de ChristenUnie niet meer met de heer Rutte in zee kon gaan, of iets van die strekking. Dat is echter iets heel anders dan een motie van wantrouwen steunen.
@@yourchoice9361 hij vergist zich gewoon! Hij bedoelde afkeuring natuurlijk! Maar in een betoog en interview zal hij zich wel eens verspreken! Als je hem minder vind dan luister je gewoon niet meer! toch?
Ik vind de introductie van Engelse programmas op universiteiten (edit: voor internationale studenten) geen slecht idee. Een egoistische reden is dat mijn kinderen geen Nederlands spreken na langduring verbijf in het buitenland en toch in Nederland kunnen studeren (tegen hoger tarief weliswaar maar goed). Geen goede algemene reden maar ik denk dat er ook andere voordelen aanzitten voor de plaats van Nederland in de internationale gemeenschap. Zolang het maar geen Amerikaanse bedoeningen worden. Leuk als Maarten hier wat meer over kan zeggen in een volgende podcast.
Inderdaad voor u persoonlijk is het een voordeel, maar denken doen we het beste in onze moerstaal en dus stelt het de Nederlands sprekende studenten op een achterstand.
Als het onderwijs in Nederland als voornaamste doel heeft winst maken, dan pas begint het argument "de plaats van Nederland in de internationale gemeenschap" zin te maken. Dit is echter niet het geval, het onderwijs in Nederland dient in eerste instantie de ontwikkeling van de mensen in dit land, waar de Nederlandse taal een van de belangrijkste aspecten van is. Ik zou me in een eventuele uitzondering voor de studie Engels kunnen vinden, maar het lijkt me ronduit belachelijk om de studie Nederlands in het Engels te doen. Fijn dat u aan geeft dat uw enige motivatie voor deze stelling uit louter egoisme voort kwam, op zich niet verdienstelijk, maar uw transparantie hier over is te prijzen.
Het komt er feitelijk op neer dat u zegt: 'Ja, de taart is oneerlijk verdeeld, maar zolang ik het grootste stuk krijg ben ik een voorstander van oneerlijke verdelingen.'

De veramerikanisering heeft in Nederland al lang toegeslagen, verengelsing van het nederlandse onderwijs is slechts de zoveelste verarming. Dus jammer genoeg zijn de amerikaanse bedoeningen al een heel stuk prominenter hier dan u zich rekenschap van geeft.
@@BlacksmithTWD Met de plaats in de gemeenschap bedoel ik dat internationale studenten die hier studeren in hun latere leven (waar het moge zijn) mogelijk dichter bij Nederland staan. Overigens bedoelde ik dit nooit om te zien als een vervanging van het normale programma in het Nederlands. En nog minder bedoelde ik dat dit zou leiden tot veramerikanisering - behalve de taal.

Today I unapologetically proclaim that there is only one way to be saved, and it has nothing to do with getting your sins forgiven. Salvations through FAITH. (Ephesians 2:8-9) Without faith it is impossible to please God.

Inderdaad Meneer van Rossem, de meeste mensen doen werk dat ze totaal niet leuk vinden, onderschat dit niet! De zogenaamde "vakantieziekte" waar u het over heeft is geen op zichzelf staand fenomeen, maar een symptoom van de ongelukkige middenklasse, waar u het privilege heeft enigszins boven te staan.
