You'll need to learn advanced movement and animation cancels to really min-max your hunting. Here's how: ua-cam.com/video/kEaW54MdHP0/v-deo.html I made one mistake in the video. Striped Chappas take two iron arrows to kill, not one. This means the only reason to use iron arrows is to shoot elder sernuks 3 times instead of 4.
I picked up Palia over a year ago but I got distracted and was too scared to get into it. People kept telling me about how you HAVE to play with others and my anxiety struggles with that. I've picked it back up now and I play mostly solo. However after watching a few videos I'm more confident. This is a great video! Thanks for all the tips! And well done on reaching your 100k goal! Good luck with 200! ☺️
Palia is one cozy game, from the gameplay to the people playing the game here are kind and very chill. But i will recommend you to play some shooter games and trashtalk opponent or teammates for your character development.
I rarely if not ever comment on videos but I've followed and appreciated your very informative content on Palia yet it seems this video has missed a crucial detail about dispel arrows against Magic Chappas. While it is true that shooting a dispel arrow at a Magic Chappa from afar appears almost useless as it will lead to the creature cloning anyways and not having much of an effect at all, they do have a very potent effect if shot AFTER having triggered their cloning ability. What I usually do is just running into the Magic Chappa, wait for it to clone, shoot a dispel arrow leading to all the clones disappearing and the real one being stunned for a good few seconds. I haven't been methodical enough to count exactly how many dispel arrows would be needed for a kill but I'd guesstimate four, in hopes this information can be useful to some !
@@SwoleBenji Actually, I have just been hit by the biggest anxiety inducing doubt after commenting. I might have spread misinformation about the clone poofing, but the stun is very real. So either it does both and we're gucci or I got too excited on trying to share additional info' and imagined this functionality. The stun is very real however (and in the case I brainfarted the clone poofing part) and makes it very easy to tell which one to target and spam arrows onto !
I use dispel arrows on the magical chapaa. The arrows don't stop them from splitting initially, but when I hit one after they split the other copies disappear and the one I hit gets stunned. At least that's what's been happening for me.
Handy guide! I was trying to figure out how to make money faster, because ya girl needs to buy new rooms n stuff to deck out her house, and this answered pretty much all of the questions I had about how much damage is needed etc. I still need to check out your animation cancels video though, because I KNOW if I get good at that it'll help a lot
Im enjoying the game on switch so far very chill game, which is why i started playing animal crossing new horizon when it came out, sometimes i wanna step away from other games and just play stuff like this, which is why i also got into ark lol i do feel that cosmetics are a bit pricey for what you get but other than that i hope this game does well with future updates and new content
I play this on Switch as well. But hunting is so much harder and slower on the Switch. I see all these videos of people just rapidly deleting animals and you simply cannot do that on the Switch. It sucks
great all to know at hunting video! most of refining the loot i didnt know. i just cook the meat and then sells it. man i need much more machinerys on my house running. right now im at 12. but the cooking reciepe was great! i must look for those reciepes.
Yeah, I'm really diggin' this game! And you got a new sub here... I don't have a life either and it suits me just fine. I notice you were just popping in and out of the Requets section. How are you doing that? It might be obvious to you but to me, the only way I can open that up is in the workbench where if I'm short on materials I can Request it from others and if I have it I can fulfill other players requests. It's the hard way to open it but until now it's the only way I knew there was.
I love that when I'm hunting Sernuks around Whispering Banks that there's so much copper ore lying around that I can mine while moving around the route. However I've got like 800 copper ore right now and like 20 iron bars to my name, so I've wanted to find a route in Bahari Bay that I can move around and hunt Sernuks or Chapaas (Since their meat, hide and gift item are basically the same price) while also being able to find a decent amount of iron ore laying around for me to mine. Could u recommend a route?
Bro will you make video about graphics settings and how to tweak them to see better for example a flow trees or special animals? Thanks a lot for these guides they help a lot.
Benji there's new game called "dawnlands" its looks like palia, albion, ark, genshin. The game is pretty cool i think you should try that and maybe make guide for that Edit: your shooting arrow skill is amazing here!
i have a question about the different bow types and maybe you've answered it somewhere else but im new to your channel and so wanted to ask ... between the diff (repairable) bow types, is the only difference between them how far they shoot? the damage is all determined by arrows, right? so (for example) if i use a standard bow and shooting 100 arrows costs me 50% of bow strength and conversely 20 repair kits, does the next tier up fine bow shooting the same 100 arrows costs me 25% of bow strength and 30 repair kits or how does that work... do you have an idea or a guide/chart about the bow strengths / cost to repair etc? thank you for the guides, ive been looking through all of ur channels and have already subscribed...
Love this game but I don't understand what fireworks are for and how to use them. What is their use if they don't do damage to sernuks etc? Just purely for the gold?
Idk what's going on but I've watched another video on the animation cancelling and it doesn't seem to work for me at all. I've tried sveral timings, several jumps and as soon as I land, it still animates.
I have seen a new type of creature it’s like a sparkling gray chappa that populates five at a time and they run very fast. How do you get those? They appear like the large ancient deer
if you haven’t figured it out yet, these are called azure chapaas and yes they’re the equivalent of the proundhorned sernuk (affectionately known as magic deer or disco deer!) your best bet is to get a friend or two and use dispel arrows. the dispel arrows will counteract the cloning power so you only have to worry about hitting the real chapaa and they do the same damage as the standard arrows iirc-that’s why i’d suggest grabbing a couple friends if possible. i’m still struggling to hunt them myself bc im terrible at aiming and don’t have many friends who can help lol but that’s the suggested way to take them down!

Just started this game and I regret not starting sooner! Amazing guide, thanks for all this info!❤
There is nothing as fun ask quick aiming and rapid firing a bow. Then hippity hoppity animation canceled collection 🙏🏼 Finally someone that gets it
Nice shooting. Great video. Shooting that fast is impossible on switch lol.
Same thought so horrible at hunting and catching bugs lol
dude! thanks a lot for the free and awesome information, really helpful for a newbie player like me
This is so informative - thanks for the video!
Nice video man keep up the good work

Makes sense! I kept thinking it of more of a "magic lock" or "silence" arrow but the fact it makes the clones go poof upon hit is mega-useful!

Luckily that was patched, now they will lose magical properties upon being hit with dispel arrows. That was a bug

Keyboard and mouse hunting is easy mode. I’m jealous…

Top right part of that "flooded" area is really nice for both. I don't know if it's optimal but it's where I go so far.
429 copper arrows breaks the bow. I always keep 428 arrows with me to leave the bow 1hp until i can repair.

Only 1,700 people playing it on Steam and it has "mixed" reviews.

Sorry, why is the fine arrow worse than its lesser counterpart?
Thanks!
I'm pretty sure you only need level 2 to unlock the loom. I too had to look it up lol
nice for you try doing that from europe too much lag i cant hit a moving one besides using the slow arrow. but its a open beta so what game is fun.
Hitting the animals is client side. Lag shouldn't be an issue.
Gardening is overpowered holyy
Im so inexperienced 😂😂😂 i have to remember these tips
do you have a cooking channel ? we need a comprehensive one. please
Like IRL cooking? No. I don't ever plan to split content on different channels.
omg, so it's part of a trick to leave the bag and then mass shoot it somewhere else. I thought someone missed the loot and took it. 😅
You dont see others loot, if its on your screen its yours
this game sucks on switch i cant say its bad on other platforms but the switch version is just awful
Farming is great on switch! I kept missing it on pc. But the rest is great on pc.
i just started playing, and you're right. anytime i see someone playing PC, it reminds me how bad switch port is
@@SincerelyVinceit was the reason why i stopped playing altogether the latency the stutters it was not ready.

Hmm is palia 3D version of albion ?? 🤔
hello bro, can we earn real money here?
Nope.
