- This plane was PAIN. I played the German BV-155 in War Thunder and honestly, I think this might have been one of the most frustrating planes I've tried to get gameplay with in recent times. Not because it's an inherently bad plane, but because it doesn't comfortably get to use its strong points to its advantage in War Thunder...

How do you not have to at least 1 million subs
This thing really shines only at altitudes above 6000m. The problem is that you could outclimbed by others at that BR in the meantime. Btw could you play the J7W next? It's not particularly great but it's so unique and I'd love to hear what you think. I fell in love with the J21 pushers when Viking Fury came out but didn't have the same experience with the Shinden
Yeah I think that really needs to be said. It's a great plane... but NOT in War Thunder
only german plane that turnfights other then low tier
But even then it's barely as competitive as most at it's tier
This was the first Battlepass vehicle I ever actively grinded out in and...to this day I still haven't flown it yet!
Could be wrong but what i remember this plane should hunt B29.
Thats why it has those long wings.
But in the end B29 wasnt used in europe.
Idk why but i LOVE to bring this plane for some air superiority in ground rb to keep the CAS away. It just works so well

you reverse too much back in front of the enemy…
the bv-155 uses its altitude to turn. you do not dive down onto the first enemy, you use your energy wisely, because you dont get it back.
and you always dive as an evasion tactics. turn horizontally in the bv-155 a lil bit more. no enemy can follow your slow turn
