Awesome Lee, you should never worry about other channels. Your audience wants to see your thoughts. 😊 looks like you now have a shadow. There is supposed to be a feature that eliminates the prop sound and work with the DJI mic.
Thanks 👍 true they want to see my thoughts, but also somebody is bound to jump in comments saying camera is rubbish or something I've missed. 😆 anyway, yeah, it suits my needs. Yeah, it does have a prop noise cancelling option if I talk on the phone with it, but it sounds rather like I'm underwater 😆 🤣 will try it sometimes, though.
Now isn't that just brilliant!! Always fun to try out a brand new toy!! It's like having "Big Brother" keeping his eye on you! lol Hmmm...I wonder if it would follow Otis around...that could be quite the adventure as there are times I wonder where he has wondered off to! LOL Enjoy the fun!!

Hi Dave and Dawn. Yes its definitely a good drone for new people who want to take some neat shots. Just bear in mind you cannot fly any drone around national trust sites. Well not from a trust site anyway!

Yeah its fine enough mate that's for sure but a lot of people say it should be better. I sort of agree with them but it works fine for me. 😆

Yeah for sure. I mean if you are new to drones, they are a good start. easy to get out of your pocket and just take a few shots!

Thanks buddy! Yes I will only use it to add onto my uploads more than likely! If I get a chance next week I will go out and try and fly it with the phone properly. Never used the phone on this test

Yeah I'm sure at some point t they will reduce in price. I'm sure next year a new model will be out and the old model will have reduced!
That's a handy little drone I've seen pictures of it but I didn't look into it. That would be great for walks and hikes. How is the battery life?
Each battery is around 17 mins, so it's not brilliant compared to the mini, for example, but ok for messing around with. Obviously, you can buy the combo pack, but I just wanted the drone with 1 for now simply for weight. From other reviews this this can take a few knocks also!
It does look like it will get the shots you want and not take so much time to set up. Pretty cool 🙂
That's the main thing Jay. Takes minutes to set up! No upsetting wife or kids when they are waiting for me lol

Ah, nice one Ray…. You know this is the very 1st DJI Neo video I’ve watched mainly because I didn’t think it would be for me but I thought I’d give your video a shot and unfortunately it highlighted something else I wouldn’t like and like you said it’s not for everyone but you can bet your bottom dollar at that price point it will sell like hotcakes, as for the camera what the so called critics fail to realise is the price and only not so very long ago there was no flying cameras at all so I think it’s doing a remarkable job… so pleased your enjoying it though and it will make a great addition to your channel 👍🏻👍🏻
Cheers mate appreciate your input. Yeah I think for what I want it's OK. Easy to whip out and use. It has this feature where you can use your phone and record your voice and they remove rotor noise but it sounds weird. On for short bursts though. Also you can use a controller and it acts like any other drone. One feature it needs for the phone though is RTH doesn't have it. Using WiFi over phone well you know what will happen!

Interesting fact you may not know and only something I've just found out. Nobby who does what you do and does drone uploads lives near me. He tests his drones 5 miles from my house and my wife works less than 1 mile away lol

No, it doesn't fold up at all. It's very small, though!

Looks like a nice drone. I have never used the follow me shot on mine but I definitely see how it can come in handy. I have only used the handheld shots. Does it have audio or are you getting the sound from the handheld camera? 👍18
Sound is from the handheld camera. You can definitely use the fly app to record your voice and cut out the sound of the motors but I think it sounds a little weird lol
Interesting! I was just looking at one or two yesterday. It seems just the job my hiking. It fills a role perfectly : convenient video ‘snap’ to accompany other devices. Seems perfect for that. I’m not clear about any RTH feature, it’s max height or distance but launching and landing on your hand is a cool feature as is the digital gimbal and auto muting of drone sound. DJI obviously put a lot of thought into it. A bargain at £200 ish.
It doesn't have an RTH feature yet well not on my phone. Not sure about controller! You can use your existing controller btw. Just to note I never shown the muted drone sound. I just used my action 4 on this one. I like it just for like you say snap stuff. Easy and quick to get out and use!

Quickshots mate. They work even without any controller. But let's say I use my phone to fly it manually, it has not RTH feature so if you lose sight of it I guess your in trouble. I can't say about the controller because I don't have one!

That's not a winter coat it's my spring autumn coat, and yes, it's cold lol 8c when I was filming. Today should reach 20c British weather is just weird like your Canadian weather!

8c is hot for you lol 😆 17c now lol i usually wear shorts and tee but where i live its always windy and if the wind blows wrong you get wind from easterly cold front and im a wimp lol😊.

Do you need a licence or anything to fly drones like you did in this video?
Yes, you do! Even for this small thing, you need a flyers licence and operator ID. Both are easy to obtain, mate. I think it depends on what you want a drone for as to which drone you get and what licence you need. But sub 250g, yes, you need the above. Need a catch up and I can explain it to you more in detail!
Temping to get one. But, the US government has so much B.S. with drones. It is even worst if your UA-cam channel is monetized.
