Yes! This is what I love about bikes. I scored a set of Enve 29er QR wheels that a mate was getting rid of. They were "obsolete!" My son used them, and bits and pieces in my parts bin, to build up a gravel bike on a 2nd hand CUBE frame. He's stoked, and learned a lot from the project. So he's not frightened to do his own maintenance. Cheers
What's the outside diameter of the 2.1 Gravel King 650B fully inflated? What is the width? Would like to check to see if it would fit on my 26er. Thanks,
This is a point many people seem to make, in my personal opinion the difference is negligible, and I certainly haven’t noticed any detrimental effects on the bikes that I have converted. In fact I feel the handling improves thanks to the small increase in diameter.

Me too! I’d encourage anyone to get stuck and try building a bike or two, there’s always help and guidance out there. Thanks for watching! 👍👍
Loving the music Geoff makes the video flow.
Thanks JC!
Thank you for your work and your good attitude
Cheers man, really very much appreciated 👍👍

Thanks,
I’ll have a look for you and pop a reply when I’m next in the workshop!
I’ll have to check next time I’m in the workshop and let you know!
Can you do a shorts or a full vid of a 650b up front and 26 on the back. I have a project bike I want to try it on.
I’ll see what I can do, haven’t done a mullet build video yet!!
@@Downhillsmoothtarmac thanks in advance.
I had to stop a guy who broke his arm in a bike path crash. Hit by an biker on a blind corner.
Careful out there folks.
It’s good that you stopped, we all have to take care, share the trails and be responsible 😎🙂
BB of 26 inch bikes is quite high from ground with less drop, compared to original gravel-bikes. Won't BB be too high by converting to 650b?
