Philippe Colin 2013 Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru Les Chaumees White Burgundy Wine Review

Philippe Colin inherited his vineyard from his father, Michel Colin. Michel decided to retire in 2004 (I think in the video I said 2014). He spit his vineyard into 2 and gave half (9 hectares) to each son: Philippe and Bruno. Since then Philippe has added another few hectares so that he now owns around 14 hectares of vineyard.
Chassagne Montrachet (pronounced Mon ra shay) is a region in the Cote de Beaune region in Burgundy. The premier cru site is Les Chaumees (pronounced Sha may).
Philippe Colin produces 20+ wines with an annual production of around 90,000 bottles.
This wine was given 95 pts by Wine Spectator and only 150 cases of this wine was produced.
