- It’s been four years since the Cybertruck was revealed… And the time has finally come for Mat to see it in the flesh!
He’s flown over to the Tesla Gigafactory in Austin, Texas to see the very first Cybertrucks roll off the production line before they’re handed over to customers, and he’s about to see if the most anticipated car in the world really lives up to the hype!
Naturally, an event such as this is no small celebration! The Gigafactory site is littered in Cybertrucks, and Mat will have a chance to walk through the factory to take a look under the skin and find out just how impressive it is. Not only that, he’ll get a chance to sit inside the Cybertruck to take a closer look at the build quality, while also asking other attendees what they make of this ultra-impressive pick-up!
…Oh, and a certain someone called Elon will be in attendance, too.
So what do you think - will the Cybertruck live up to the hype?! And will Mat be so impressed that he actually puts a deposit down?! You’ll need to stick with him for this factory walkaround to see for yourself! - Авто та транспорт
He's representing the kid in all of us, carefree and touching all the "please do not touch" things. That is the whole purpose of a review or experience and he nailed. Instead of journos punching through segments after segments of tech, mech and what not, here we get a wholesome experience "first hand". Like we literally were with Mat. Irreplaceable.
What I'm worried about is the amount of "journalists" who cheer and go crazy just because of a truck towing another car in a "drag race". Wtf

See the Top gear interview with the engineers. Tesla engineers are insane. Musk knows how to pick and motivate them. So many new innovations in this that will make a difference. The steel panels make it LIGHTER - yet it withstands crashes better and is more rigid. It's also has surprisingly low drag and introduces a new high volt sys throughout. And it has fly by wire steering! Which makes it easy to quickly turn this around town!
@@andrewnorris5415 rigidity is only good to a certain extent in a car crash, you want the crumple zone to absorb atleast a bit of the impact. the crash test vids for the cybertruck are on youtube, it does not look pleasant to crash in lol, especially considering how safe the model 3 is

It’s not like you have to get the panel alignment spot on when you do repair it.
With those panel gaps you wont need to find a crashed one to rebuild... just buy new.

Just want to touch on something re: the robot, the robot is intentionally operating slowly, probably so the press can take videos and pictures of it, in reality that Fanuc robot can quite easily operate at 10x that speed with the exact same level of accuracy.

i watched it online.. this was by far the most amateuristic event i have ever seen.. audio wasnt working/ cutting out. Underwhelming presentation. Lighting wasn't working / being adjusted. Elon talking like he didn't really have an idea what the next subject was. Its like he just rolled in and said "f^ck it , ill do it live" but he isn't a great entertainer/presenter. I hope the event was fun at least. The truck looks nice.

Wow, more than a hundred years of development in the auto industry....and the big Tesla innovation is that, if you kick the car.....the door or the hood of the car does not bend...it is truly amazing 🧐
I know when I'm looking for a new vehicle one of the first questions I ask is are the body panels able to withstand small arms fire. Truly a critical qualification for a new car because you have those certain intersections where you know people are going to be shooting either a 9mm or a 45ACP at all times. Thankfully they haven't progressed to 44mag or 45 Colt +P ammo or then the Cybertruck wouldn't give that peace of mind you get from knowing no 9mm bullets are going to come through your car door while driving.

@@nicksokolis6343 I agree even the base 992 has a 1/4 mile time of 11.5 sec, a Rivian R1T Quad (similar weight, power, torque) 11.6 sec and before they pulled it from the website the claim was 11sec for the Cyber beast - I don't buy for 1 second that this truck is legitimately 0.5 sec slower over a 1/4 mile towing a car on a trailer nor that it can do an 11.4 sec 1/4 in this config - why didn't they show the actual 1/4 mile time? just the conveniently aligned end photo.
