    Loved this. Additionally, people who's love language is Touch just like to be touched by their partner. Hold my hand, put your arm around me, touch my hip when we're in a group, sit touching me on the couch, play with my hair.. literally, JUST TOUCH ME. For people like me those little touches communicate so much in terms of closeness and connectedness.

    I wish I was as confident as Hannah. She's so incredible in front of a crowd. She speaks clearly, moves around, and keeps the entire conversation light harted and enjoyable without it all sounding like a lesson. Plus, her charisma, constant positive energy, and gratefulness can captivate anyone. (Also, her style choice is fantastic! She always looks great!)

    "The Five Languages of Love" is a great source for anyone to learn more about themselves and learn more about their partner and be open to those other ways of communicating love towards one another. Great talk Hannah! :)

    awesome. im such a firm believer in understanding the ways in which you receive and give love and making sure those are compatible with your lover because you can change so much to accommodate them but i believe these aspects are so innately a part of our being. i loved this. awesome video, Hans. so spot on. so many people go their entire romantic life without having this crucial understanding of themselves or their partner. love love loved this!

    Have known about the 5 Love Languages for about 10 years but had not heard the concept presented in this way before. Interesting spin. You're da best!

    This was great! It's also important to remember that some people don't show love the same way they receive it! You may like words of affirmation, but actually enjoy giving gifts to your partner!

    Loved this...reminded me of the Walk and Talks from Hello Harto! and I love those, I have an entire playlist of them just so I can find them easily when I need to hear those words of wisdom. I wish she did more Walk and Talks or stuff like this.

    i've actually read an article about how you have two love languages, the love language in which you give love and the love language in which you receive love. For example I show love with touch but receive love with quality time. While you can cater to another person's love language you already have a natural (or for me almost subconscious) way of showing love.

  • @IamKris411
    @IamKris411 11 років тому

    That was an excellent summation of the love languages, short, sweet & to the point, with Hannah charm, good one...I'll have to reference this sometime when I'm trying to explain the 5 love languages, without being long-winded...

    I love love. I took the test a long time ago and was even in 4 out of 5 of the love languages and got a perfect 0 in the gifts one.
    Also, this is a pretty great reminder of why I love Hannah Hart.

    This is wonderful! It's actually a really interesting and effective way of evaluating how you consider your relationships. I got high scores for time and touch and 0 for gifts - I don't want my partner to be out getting me things, I just want them to be with me.

  • @snayl
    @snayl 11 років тому

    The objective per se is to learn to which methods you are more and less receptive, so your partner/friends/family/etc. can be aware of how to most effectively demonstrate love to you... and thus have you perceive it. Typically people demonstrate love in ways they themselves most effectively receive it, which is not universal of course. The love language is about clear communication more than "typing" yourself. Hope this helped? Hang in there!

    Love Languages! I had my ex and I take the quiz to figure out what our top ones were. Even though it didn't work out for the two of us in the end, knowing how to show love to another in a way they will best receive it was a great feeling.

    To me what always helps in speeches like that is personal examples as you gave. Otherwise it just sounds as someone trying to be a moral nag, You came across great and have a natural way of speaking because you speak from your point of view and life but still give general advice. Well that's my opinion :p
    greetings from Belgium. (sorry for the english)

    My love language is Quality Time. I love being with the people I care about.

  • @paperstarjar
    @paperstarjar 11 років тому

    I took the test and my primary is quality time... which is NOT surprising considering I feel like everyone is too busy for me. Probably not how you're supposed to look at that, but I couldn't stop thinking about how ridiculously high I value time with people since I get so little. Second was acts of service... and I think thats mostly an appreciation of follow through. Too many people are all talk. Interesting.

    you're an excellent public speaker, Hannah! and I love your body language, it's like you can't really control your legs haha xD it's just great to hear & watch you speak. as for the website - it's super informative in that it helps one see what matters the most, and what doesn't despite what we may think at times. I now realise that's the biggest problem I had with my ex - he was the 'service' & 'gift' type, while I just wanted to look at him, be touched, kissed, etc. bad match :P

    Aaahhh I want to go to A Camp SO MUCH! Also I'm pretty sure my partner is a gifts person. They're always giving me random little things, like a either a tiny bar of chocolate, or something they saw that they thought I'd like, or a little note, or they'll Tweet cute animal GIFs at me during the day or put them up on my computer if we're at home and leave the room for a minute. Not sure what I am though...Maybe service or touch? Idk.

    Interrupting means you're listening only long enough to find something you want to say. As soon as you have something to say, you're no longer interested in what they had to say. You do realize that if you listen to only part of what someone says, you often hear something completely different from the idea they were trying to convey, don't you? So much of the time, you really choose not to hear them at all, just so you can be the one talking.
