Loved this. Additionally, people who's love language is Touch just like to be touched by their partner. Hold my hand, put your arm around me, touch my hip when we're in a group, sit touching me on the couch, play with my hair.. literally, JUST TOUCH ME. For people like me those little touches communicate so much in terms of closeness and connectedness.
I wish I was as confident as Hannah. She's so incredible in front of a crowd. She speaks clearly, moves around, and keeps the entire conversation light harted and enjoyable without it all sounding like a lesson. Plus, her charisma, constant positive energy, and gratefulness can captivate anyone. (Also, her style choice is fantastic! She always looks great!)
"The Five Languages of Love" is a great source for anyone to learn more about themselves and learn more about their partner and be open to those other ways of communicating love towards one another. Great talk Hannah! :)
awesome. im such a firm believer in understanding the ways in which you receive and give love and making sure those are compatible with your lover because you can change so much to accommodate them but i believe these aspects are so innately a part of our being. i loved this. awesome video, Hans. so spot on. so many people go their entire romantic life without having this crucial understanding of themselves or their partner. love love loved this!
This was great! It's also important to remember that some people don't show love the same way they receive it! You may like words of affirmation, but actually enjoy giving gifts to your partner!
I don't know what to expect from Vloctober. Its really amazing so far, but for some reason, I don't even know why, but I feel like I'm waiting for some big important and over the top video. I don't even know, but I love you Hannah keep up with the amazing videos and I cant wait for Hello Hart Part 2
Loved this...reminded me of the Walk and Talks from Hello Harto! and I love those, I have an entire playlist of them just so I can find them easily when I need to hear those words of wisdom. I wish she did more Walk and Talks or stuff like this.
i've actually read an article about how you have two love languages, the love language in which you give love and the love language in which you receive love. For example I show love with touch but receive love with quality time. While you can cater to another person's love language you already have a natural (or for me almost subconscious) way of showing love.
That was an excellent summation of the love languages, short, sweet & to the point, with Hannah charm, good one...I'll have to reference this sometime when I'm trying to explain the 5 love languages, without being long-winded...
Hannah Hart I love you, and you make me feel better about myself, even if only for a little while. Can you just give me mini speeches like that daily? Would make my life.
I love love. I took the test a long time ago and was even in 4 out of 5 of the love languages and got a perfect 0 in the gifts one. Also, this is a pretty great reminder of why I love Hannah Hart.
Hannah this was so helpful, I recently have someone I really like and am trying to figure out the best way to communicate that to her. I am definitely touch and quality time and a little acts of service.
This is wonderful! It's actually a really interesting and effective way of evaluating how you consider your relationships. I got high scores for time and touch and 0 for gifts - I don't want my partner to be out getting me things, I just want them to be with me.
I'm the same. I show love with words or deed and don't feel as comfortable showing love with touch but I feel most loved by that other person with physical touch.
The objective per se is to learn to which methods you are more and less receptive, so your partner/friends/family/etc. can be aware of how to most effectively demonstrate love to you... and thus have you perceive it. Typically people demonstrate love in ways they themselves most effectively receive it, which is not universal of course. The love language is about clear communication more than "typing" yourself. Hope this helped? Hang in there!
Here I was thinking I cant like you more. I swear by this book and concept. Have been gifting it for Xmas and bdays to friends and family for years now.
Love Languages! I had my ex and I take the quiz to figure out what our top ones were. Even though it didn't work out for the two of us in the end, knowing how to show love to another in a way they will best receive it was a great feeling.
Oh you are such a cutie. I really like the topic, its really interesting, and I like the personal connections you gave. Also, the gifs joke? Nailed it.
To me what always helps in speeches like that is personal examples as you gave. Otherwise it just sounds as someone trying to be a moral nag, You came across great and have a natural way of speaking because you speak from your point of view and life but still give general advice. Well that's my opinion :p greetings from Belgium. (sorry for the english)
Hannah thank you for giving me the curage to finaly talk to someone about myself. I and loads of others think I'm dislexic and I finally told some other trinititties who have helped me a ton!
I have not heard the 5 love languages taught quite like that but, it made a lot of since. Good job Hanna! Wish I could take out the trash, clean out your in box and give you a hug. haha
I took the test and my primary is quality time... which is NOT surprising considering I feel like everyone is too busy for me. Probably not how you're supposed to look at that, but I couldn't stop thinking about how ridiculously high I value time with people since I get so little. Second was acts of service... and I think thats mostly an appreciation of follow through. Too many people are all talk. Interesting.
you're an excellent public speaker, Hannah! and I love your body language, it's like you can't really control your legs haha xD it's just great to hear & watch you speak. as for the website - it's super informative in that it helps one see what matters the most, and what doesn't despite what we may think at times. I now realise that's the biggest problem I had with my ex - he was the 'service' & 'gift' type, while I just wanted to look at him, be touched, kissed, etc. bad match :P
i was wondering if it would pick up on different loves languages or say you are just one cause i see more than two that i am. glad its not just a one love language thing. :) this is a wonderful thing to figure out.
Aaahhh I want to go to A Camp SO MUCH! Also I'm pretty sure my partner is a gifts person. They're always giving me random little things, like a either a tiny bar of chocolate, or something they saw that they thought I'd like, or a little note, or they'll Tweet cute animal GIFs at me during the day or put them up on my computer if we're at home and leave the room for a minute. Not sure what I am though...Maybe service or touch? Idk.
@YourHarto So so funny never seen you like "proper stand up" without drinking absolutely amazing, really shows your great even outside of the kitchen! :)
Interrupting means you're listening only long enough to find something you want to say. As soon as you have something to say, you're no longer interested in what they had to say. You do realize that if you listen to only part of what someone says, you often hear something completely different from the idea they were trying to convey, don't you? So much of the time, you really choose not to hear them at all, just so you can be the one talking.
Loved this. Additionally, people who's love language is Touch just like to be touched by their partner. Hannah, you've come so far since "Buttah yo shit". I am so glad you've found a way to inspire us ... without losing your goofy side.
"The Five Languages of Love" is a great source for anyone to learn more about themselves and learn more about their partner and be open to those other ways of communicating love towards one another. Great talk Hannah! :)

I really appreciate how unbiased you were about all 5, because they are each important.
Have known about the 5 Love Languages for about 10 years but had not heard the concept presented in this way before. Interesting spin. You're da best!
This was great! It's also important to remember that some people don't show love the same way they receive it! You may like words of affirmation, but actually enjoy giving gifts to your partner!
You have no idea how much these talks affect us. It's crazy how you can be talking to a crowd of people, but I feel like you are just talking to me!!!
I don't know what to expect from Vloctober. Its really amazing so far, but for some reason, I don't even know why, but I feel like I'm waiting for some big important and over the top video. So much infinite love for this, Hannah. Acts of service, that's me!!!!
Loved this...reminded me of the Walk and Talks from Hello Harto! and I love those, I have an entire playlist of them just so I can find them easily when I need to hear those words of wisdom. I wish she did more Walk and Talks or stuff like this.
There was something very comforting about this. :) Thank you, Hannah.
This was great, Hannah! You're always so inspiring and positive! Thanks for this :)
Hannah is most definitely, the sexiest UA-camr out there with good puns, a big heart and an official ship and everything. Hannah wins life.

You're such a wonderful person, Hannah! This video is awesome!
You are an amazing orator and this was fantastic. Thank you.
I love love. I took the test a long time ago and was even in 4 out of 5 of the love languages and got a perfect 0 in the gifts one.
Also, this is a pretty great reminder of why I love Hannah Hart.
Ok Hannah really? You're the whole package: funny, cute, stylish, smart, down to earth, and now you're like super wise? What? Just marry me already.
Hannah is actually a really good public speaker!
Wow, I really needed this today. Hannah thank you so much, that was really well done! ^3^
Ugh I swear I love her more and more each day.
Hannah this was so helpful, I recently have someone I really like and am trying to figure out the best way to communicate that to her. I am definitely touch and quality time and a little acts of service.

Hannah, that was amazing :) a star public speaker!
I'm the same. I show love with words or deed and don't feel as comfortable showing love with touch but I feel most loved by that other person with physical touch.
Hannah, I couldn't love you and our wisdom more.
This was fascinating! Did the love languages test myself and I'm going to make everyone I know do it too. A nice little indicator of character too.
you did such a great job with this! proud of you.

My love language is Quality Time. I love being with the people I care about.

Okay, I really wish Hannah was a speaker at any youth conference or retreat I have, that would be amazing...
I just took the test and apparently i'm three different love languages. Words of Affirmation, Receiving Gifts, and Acts of Service.
this was great!
Hannah Hart, you are the sweetest person alive!
Hannah you're too amazing!
