How the heck have I never known about Golden Boy Pizza??? Born and raised and only moved to NYC a few years ago. LIKE... have I slept under a rock? Guess I'll be going there on my next home visit.
I'm living a cliché - I fell in love in San Francisco, and I visit 2-3 times a year to be with my love 💓 Thank you for the extra ideas for where to go!
No visiting friends or relatives? SF born and raised (now in NYC) and I've always had a reason to see these tourist areas. Or, you know, just hang out with friends and explore a neighborhood. :) It's a new year, put it on your to do list!
@@SL-lz9jr I can relate. I used to live near NYC but didn't get to see a lot of the major sites in NYC, then I moved far, far away from NYC and some girl says, "Hey, do you want to visit NYC?" Kind of weird spending a FORTUNE on a TINY hotel room when I had all that time to visit NYC major sites when I lived around there.
Everybody has their favorite spots, but for a tourist with little time, they'll probably want to substitute some of these suggestions for Fisherman's Wharf/Ghirardelli Square, Pier 39 and Union Square where they could also catch a cable car.
roachtoasties BAD IDEA! Too many people, crowded side walks (takes forever to walk around), overdone and overrated. She did a pretty good job. Don’t waste your money on the touristy spots. They’re expensive and kitschy. Try going to the presidio, cliff house, the beach, land’s end, haight or the mission, sunset district is pretty cool
seventhseance it’s crowded but nothing crazy. For someone whose never been it’s probably fun! I remember walking along the pier as a kid and it was beautiful
Point taken, but for one's first visit to S.F., especially if they'll only be here for a short period, it's the tourist spots. On subsequent visits it's time to explore. The video poster recommended The Ferry Building. I don't see the attraction, but I wouldn't tell someone not to go. I live in L.A. and I basically will say the same. Hit the tourist spots and take some tours, especially if you don't know anyone locally to show you the ropes. That's certainly better, more fun, and more efficient, than getting lost here. On their second visit, then it's time to find a few out-of-the-way things that may interest them.
@@Eleniesworld the pier is fine...lots of fun things for kids. But going down Lombard street in a car isn't as fun as you would think. Or waiting in a long line to go into any shop, Ripley's or Wax Museum at Fisherman's Wharf. I'm just saying if you're not down to spend a whole lot of cash or spend one whole day in one area... Not gonna lie though, there's a delicious clam chowder spot on the corner of Taylor and Jefferson...usually outside of Guardino's
I remember I took someone to twin peaks but it was foggy and they were like "why are we up here, what are we supposed to be able to see?“ I told them the whole city but they were kinda skeptical. We went back the next day and it was sunny, they were stunned by the view! 😎
I was reading through some of the comments, why are people so rude? Like I get SF isn’t the same anymore; but she clearly put a lot of effort into this video and if I wasn’t locally from here this is very useful. I think she did a good job and the video is helpful for people traveling here. Maybe not from some of (guys mostly be rude or telling her not to be abg) (like wtf ? Dude doesn’t matter if she’s abg or not). For everyone else though great video girlie! Keep up the good work and don’t let some of these weird comments get to you. 🤗💕
It’s UA-cam, people like to unload here it’s nothing personal (to the creator). Re your other comment none of the places were interesting to me they look dull and I’ve seen a fair few vids on San Francisco
I think this is the best video for must go’s places in SF out there! I can tell a lot of planning and work went into creating this video. Amazing job! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I’ve lived in San Francisco since 1967. You’ve shown me some restaurants I wasn’t aware. Now to see the status of some of the restaurants since the Pandemic. Great video. I’ve also posted this on the site I’m involved in for cruising. Thanks for your work & a big thanks to the photographer who we never see. 😀👍
Can't wait for March! Especially my bf and I are visiting SF for the first time. Your videos help me with more ideas. And for sure we'll have so much fun~I appreciated it.
Wow, finally a fun, high energy, well made video of what to see and do in SF. Thank you, and you are Stunning! Exactly what I was looking for! Subscribed! ( :

Have you ever been to Papolote? It's honestly the best Mexican restaurant in SF and it was VERY CLOSE to my school, but not i am going to lincoln high school and hope that my first day of school is not over zoom. I also highly recommend Arizmendi witch is EXTREMELY close to Papolote and my old school.
What a Great Video! Too bad there's not enough time to ride a cable car or to include the Castro, Telegraph Hill / Coit Tower and the Filbert Steps, Fillmore Street (Pacific Heights), Cole Valley or The Haight.
@@saber26ful I agree, their quality certainly has gone down over the years, but hey, more power to them if they can continue to make it work and take off as much as they do.

I actually prefer Humphry Slocombe... which you can get at Ferry Building easily (though long lines during lunch hour). Pier 39 is way too touristy but the Mechanical Museum in nearby Fisherman's Wharf is fun and quirky (is that still around?). Land's End is nice but I guess if you only had 24 hours to see SF, it's either Lands End or Marin.
Fantastic! Little man & I got to four of those spots in our 10 hours there. We’ll be back...especially for that garlic/clam pizza from my ancestral homeland!!!!🍕🍕🍕😋😋😋
