Small but important correction: at the @11:35 mark you talk about the "3x" limit allowing you to do something 3x as though that's MORE than is allowed if that's not there... in reality, when the limit is NOT there, it's UNLIMITED. Quote from page 7 of rulebook: "Unless stated otherwise, you may build any number of Buildings of the given type during the same turn, provided you can pay the total Building cost from your Storage (see “Storing Rules”). If there is a limit (like “1x“), you may only build the indicated number of Buildings of that type."
sorry but that's you inferring from what he said, he never said you were limited to building things once in other actions... he said that in THIS action he could do it up to 3 times while pointing at the 3x in the tile... cheers
Hey Rahdo, I am really desperate to see if you like A Feast For Odin? My son loves watching your run-throughs with me so much that he won't play a new game until he's seen your run through of it! Keep up the great work, really appreciate it!
Hi Rahdo, first time viewer, looks great. At arround 19:12 the narrator mentions that there is no means of processing lumber, however the tile in the middle row on the far left side is the "Joiner" which appears to convert 2 wood into lumber. Sorry in advance if this has already been spotted.
I'd like to take a moment to thank you for taking action. When I see requests for feedback, I always suspect they are a marketing device, intended to increase the perceived engagement of the "customer". But you actually did take action. +1 to Paulo Renato
Interesting game! And a nice video, to boot. Small nitpicks, since you're such a nice person to read them: - @18:45 - I believe the joiner on the left can produce timber. - @22:55 - Ibet you meant "brick" instead of "clay" ;) Thanks for sharing this video!
Just to make sure I'm not crazy, the middle hex on the left column lets you turn wood into timber, no? Just checking since you talk a couple of times about there being no timber options.
yeah, i've been having some weird problem with youtube for the last few weeks (see here: www.reddit.com/r/youtube/comments/5e3s06/audio_getting_blown_out_on_uploaded_vids_any/) it seems to be better for the last few videos i've uploaded, sort of "fixed itself"
In the spirit of Thanksgiving. Thank you Rahdo for all you do for the Board Gaming Community.
"... and there's some more stuff to the side" *camera shows Jen* XD
So basically now Jen is just lumped in with "some more stuff"?! Rahdo how could you!
great runthrough ! It convinced me to get The Colonists :-)

Noted... thank you

Ah, actually, you caught the Joiner on the extended gameplay vid. :-)
rahdo, any chance to review great western trail? :)
yup, will be coming in the next week or so
Great run through, thanks for the content as usual.
Hey rahdo, great play through. Any plan for Feudum?
nope, fraid not. too PVP-ish for our tastes :(
Figured as much, and I thought that it was funny/annoying that they are using a snippet from you to promote their campaign.
i know about it, and i'm cool with it, as i wish them the best of luck, and the design of that game really is something special i think
Ok! Then it is just funny! Though it is annoying that it is too PVP-ish for your tastes, because how will I know if *I* want it without seeing it ;-)

Nevermind, just started the extended video. Question answered!
Get Zee Garcia to play this game. I dare ya!
Does anyone else get microphone clipping?

looks like a rushed prototype, feels too messy.
I own a copy of this game and it looks nothing like a rushed prototype. A well designed, well tested and well produced game.
did you play it?
Kosteri x I've played the game three times so far.
Absolutely nothing sounds appealing about a 10 hour board game.
yup, but you can break it into chapters, so you get the epic feel over a month or two of weekly plays :)
