I use my 8 Quart Instant Pot to make 1.5 gallon of yogurt at a time !! Home made yogurt is so much better that store bought, Thank you for this video !!
Hello Cathi, that sounds good too. That would probably work here in Summer but it is quite cool here in Winter and early Spring so I need a bit of help. I Hope you are going well 😃
G'day Elissa, that's a really cool yoghurt maker I've never tried to make yoghurt before but would like to give it a try some time as I love yoghurt. God bless you. 🦘👍
I'm searching videos to see if I should leave the lids off or leave them on while in the yoghurt maker. I see you left yours on but some leave them off. what's best in your opinion?
Hi Wendy, I love your thinking. I will test the temperature of my slow cooker with some water in the bottom to see if it sits around the 42C temperature mark, how fantastic would it be if it did.
Wow that looks so easy, you’ve inspired me to start making yogurt. Thanks
Hey CDH, that’s great, I know you’ll like it.
This is a very informative tutorial and you have a lively tranquil teaching style. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful! Thank you Jennifer

Thank you for this video !!
I’ve never used an Instant pot but they sound very useful. I agree homemade is so much better than store bought. Thanks for stopping by 😀
What a nifty little yoghurt maker Elissa! I just use an Eski type container, but I like the look of the one you use xx Cathi xx

Great! Clear instructions and really handy for me as I just got the same yoghurt maker second hand without instructions.
Thank you for the great demonstration.
You are so welcome
Thank you for the video. It looks easy enough for me the beginner.

Could a slow cooker be used instead of a yoghurt maker.
Hi Wendy, I love your thinking. I will test the temperature of my slow cooker with some water in the bottom to see if it sits around the 42C temperature mark, how fantastic would it be if it did.
Can this yogurt maker be used for different heat settings?
Yes it’s temperature range is 20C to 60C (68F to 140F)
I would have liked to see you spoon it so I can observe the texture, as well as taste it and describe the flavor.
The yogurt maker I bought just has me put the milk directly in the machine after mixing it with the mixture. It's by Kuvings.
Hello there stranger 😁
G’day Brad, nice to see you here
Can i use lactose free milk?
You can try it. I know people make vegan yogurt. If not, just know that yogurt itself after the process is lower in lactose than regular milk
Think of all the plastic you are saving the world from😊
