I have never seen anyone do flower jelly before. This was such a cool process and very easy to do. I have seen orange blossom jelly in Florida before but didn’t know that there were other blossoms you could use. Thank you, also, for showing what can happen to pectin and what it actually looks like if it is not good. That was so helpful to me! Thanks so much for sharing your recipe!
Never heard of plum blossom jelly before. Beautiful color. Thanks for sharing.
Wow that Jelly is so Clear and Gorgeous!!! Thank you for Sharing! Excellent Video :) :)
Hi Mud! Looks and sounds delicious. I'd bet you're going to enjoy those jars of jelly. Thanks and have a good night and Friday too!😋
Oh my, bet the kitchen smelled amazing! This is a new jelly recipe for me, 😋. Thank you.
That looks great. Now I want to make some. Great job Mud👍👏👏
Lovely new idea. I've never tried blossom anything, well, except tea. Thanks for the new idea.
This looks plum blossom jelly looks good. It's my 1st time seeing this. Thanks for sharing.
Oh this sounds so good I wish I had a plum tree nearby. Thank you for your video.
Thanks Mr. Mudbrooker ❤ It looked yummy & I bet it smelled fabulous.
Oh so sorry about your old Atlas jar ....but the jelly looks beautiful and i love plums!! Thabk you for sharing!😊❤
Thank you for never disappointing us with your products! This did not let us down. Another great video and sounds amazing. I agree with the new technology that limits the old ways, such as jelly bag, but alas, we move on. LOL Looks wonderful and lesson to new canners. Even the most experienced canners have failures. Most of the time it is human error, but other times, it is just what it is. Great Video! THANK YOU!
Awesome. Wish I had some plum blossoms! Going to try the lilac blossoms next year. Exciting! Thank you!!! I'd like to try the tea too.
beautiful looking jelly, I saw a dandelion jelly recently, now plum blossom, next year I'll need to do lilacs and magnolia jellies! Great vid!
Sure wished I had some plum blossoms. This jelly sounds and looks really good!
Another first for me and I really enjoyed watching your video on how to do it. Thanks so very much for sharing, and sorry about the broken jar.
Haven't tried making jelly from flowers
Jelly looks good thanks for the video
Great video thank you for sharing
I bet this would be GREAT on biscuits from scratch!!
Pick a pack o pectin! Very nice color! Cool thanks for sharing. Bummer about the broken jar.
I personally have never heard of Plum blossom jelly - thank you for sharing. I wonder how it would be as a glaze on some thick cut pork chops? Im thinking yummy - We have some plum trees and will be trying this in the future!!
Well this is one I have never tried before. It looks delicious. You were a brave soul to hold those hot jars. Sorry you lost one of your jars of jelly but it does happen to the best of us. Thanks for sharing.
Never had Plum blossom jelly before. Sorry about breaking a jar it happens. thanks for sharing your recipe with us.
Interesting plum blossom, i never experience tasting something like this and now that i know about this, i might try doing something like this but i need to look for same ingredient first in my place. Thanks for your ideas and sharing this awesome and unique jam recipe. Shoutout to comment picker. LoL.
Nice, Plum Blosson.... now that is one I have not heard of before. I have made dandelion before. I want to try lavender, lilac, and clover!
I want to make a jelly with day lilies this year. Your plum blossom jelly looks wonderful. Thank you for this reminder video! Maybe phlox blossoms would be good, but I hate taking them away from the bees!
Thank u for the video!
New to me, plum blossoms jelly,a must try for me...😊
It’s a shame that jar broke on you in the canner. My Mothernlaw wants to order a jar of jelly.😊
I did a very similar recipe for violet blossom jelly. Took me 2 days crawling in the field to get enough petals. There are better uses of my time. Jelly was ok, but not worth it to me. Gooseberries are nearly ripe (northern Indiana) & make GREAT jam!
Interesting thanks
Nice job
This may be something to try
Never heard of plum blossom jelly. Wonder if you could used pear blossoms? Would have to find someone that will let me pick blossoms to give a try. Thanks for the idea.
Stevia, and monk fruit granules can be a 1 to 1 replacement of white table sugar. I like stevia, because it is a natural plant product like cane sugar, but it dosnt mess with blood sugar levels.
Throw my levels out of WACK. 🤣🤣🤣
Where is our shot of bourbon before making plum blossom jam?😈 i’ve never tasted it!
Wow thanks for posting.
You're welcome.
@@TheMudbrooker it would be interesting to know the difference in canning or making jelly vs jam. Maybe a topic for the future and what fruits us way down southners can use.
@raymond5194 Stsy tuned Raymond. Tuesday is da BIGG REVEAL of our MYSTERY ENAMEL SET.
@@cynthiawesley2318 I say whom ever made the lid with the dimples must be the manufacturer.
@raymond5194 Ahhhhh the mystery & suspense makes it MORE FUN Raymond. Mud making this so fun.
ever tried honeysuckle blossoms that way?
i was just wondering about that myself
No, but my honeysuckle bush was damaged pretty badly over the winter. It'll take a couple of years to come back.
Where can you get plum blossoms if you don’t have any Rees.
Well I just be. This was enjoyable. Never ever heard of this jelly with flowers, NEVER. Looks delicious too not gross. Question; Any info on your new MYSTERIOUS enameled skillet & lid? That's got me 🤔 wondering.
Yep, several folks figured it out and sent the info. I'll tell on Tuesday.
THATS RIGHT MUD!!! Keep her in SUSPENSE 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣💯👏👏👏👏
@TheMudbrooker OH wow congrats Mud. Yeh,,, that can be our highlight topic. I'm so happy for you & MORE SO ME!!!! That's part of my hobby. Learning & IDing. Thank you.
interesting......hhmm...:::Gets a spoon :: taste test!!! please and thank you!!
Do you grow your own flowers for this?
can you use any type of flower pedals to make jelly
There's a lot of flowers that are edible and a lot that aren't. Best to check first, but it's still the same basic recipe.
Isn't that a lot of sugar? Can I use something else besides sugar?
Not with regular pectin and you must use the amount in the recipe. However, there are sugar free pectins that don't require sugar.
@TheMudbrooker That sounds healthier which TURNS ME OFF🤣🤣🤣 da more UNhealth for me, da better I luvvv.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
