Vice City is turning 16 later this month. Here's my take on the final story cutscenes.

@Mezor The definitive edition won't have GTA V graphics, and that's fine, but GTA V had that synthwave feel in its background music, what's stoping them from doing the same with the definitive edition ? It would literally take a few hours to implement that in the game
Look at 2:04, the heavy synth building UP in the background, the scene gets so serious with that, it's absolutely bone chilling

@@bers6666, it's not a complete copy though. The art style is more or less a mix between Max Payne 3 stylized cutscenes with Hotline Miami retro vibes and visual cues. There's a whole lot of inspiration that can be noted from this awesome video.
Amazing video. I would love to see a full vice city remaster . This looks like a modern game . My favorite line is at 2:29.

His brother was smart and intelligent he doesnt want to betray his friends just like Lance did.....
The max Payne 3 effects are cool and fit this perfectly. Rockstar should hire you for future remasters
Now looking back at this, this looks better than the official trilogy especially with the music and edits 😂

It doesn’t have to do with budget.
If you want to do legendary games like GTA 5 and RDR2 in just a “couple” of years, then you better have all headquarters involved.
Over 2000 people work on a Rockstar modern game.
Cyberpunk took like forever to make by couple hundreds of people (in the beginning). Later expanded to 1000 employees and still (almost) in vain.
Rockstar does some 1-2 years of JUST researching locations, getting inspiration, history facts etc., not even starting to program anything.
Max Payne 3 had people flying to South America for scouting and inspiration.
And they are working on GTA 6 already (seen some videos that might have trustworthy sources).
Rumors say that Vice City type of city might come in GTA6.
Along with multiple cities in form of DLCs/expansions, packed into one game.
Imagine if that would come true...

it's hilarious and also pretty sad that this is so much better than the 'definitive edition' we have got...this is what i imagine when i think of a Vice City remaster not cartoonish models with little to no effort... and that music added in the background adds so much more to the scene!... i'd love a version like this

This Is Exactly The Tommy I wanted. Man Rockstar Really Messed With The Definitive Edition. They Changed The Things We Wanted To Stay (For Example Tommy's Original Face) and Kept The Hated Things (Like Tommy and Claude Not Being Able To Swim) still In The Game. That's So Ironic. Now, these Were The Final Official Remakes Of These OG Games and I don't think That Rockstar Will Remake Them In Future. Man, they gave My Childhood Memories a terrible End :(
I love the scan lines. It feels like I’m watching a Vice City movie on VHS.
Then the text emphasizing certain parts of the dialogue gives me Max Payne vibes. The neon text gives it that extra pizazz and tops off the 80’s look plus the feel. I love everything about this video.
GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas is all I played in my freshman year of High School.

Not that much, character models looks better in the definitive edition and it's only a small part of the game not the entirety, no new remastered interiors nor new props ect.

Plus this trailer is fucking amazing but it's just a concept tho, whoever made it obviously put effort into making a cut-scene. It's just a cut-scene. Not a remaster, not a remake, just a magnificent cut-scene.

What Rockstar came out with looks like plastic toys and doesn't fit with the original art style of the 3D series, unlike the much simpler ones presented in this fan-made cutscene.

I love the style, freezes and captures a particular moment then splits the screen. Along with subtitling key phrases. Shows what talented people are out there. This was awesome. Well done!!
