- 2 to 3 patty pan squash. ... 1/2 cup bread crumbs....onion...garlic.....1/2 cup parmesan cheese ...1/2 cup ricotta. ....1/2 pound of your favorite sausage. ..1 t. Seasoning....1 t. Olive oil.....provalone cheese.
Dear Brown family... I have to laugh... and absolutely be honest... my husband has full fledged conversations with our TV... which is why we no longer have TV... and we each watch our own UA-cam videos on our own laptops and our own ear buds. Helps keep the peace... at least for me. Haven't had cable in 15 years... and disconnected from NETFLIX when they got so weird. It's been a peaceful media situation ever since. I completely understand and NO JUDGEMENT from this neck of the woods. Mrs. Lori... those stuffed squash look so good... God bless you both. It's a hard world... in which we live. Hugs, Penny

Hi Lori, The stuffed Patty Pan squash looked scrumptious!! And I have to share with you that you brought back such nice memories for me. When my son was young, he loved helping me in the garden and his favorite vegetable that we grew was patty pan squash. He loved the name and how they looked like flying saucers!! LOL!! A friend gave me a patty pan squash plant this summer, and now I have four squashes on the cutting board. I never had them before, and I thank you for showing me a great way to eat them.

I had to come back to this video because this inspired me to grow Patti pan in my garden this year! I was able to pick 2 out of the garden today. Very good size ones too. Tomorrow fo dinner I'll be stuffing them. I'm so excited! I'm excited to see more coming in. It's so fun to grow something I hadn't never seen in my stores or farm stands near me

Looks great. Mother made delicious stuffed green summer squash that looked similar to your white one.
She sliced off the squash tops and made fancy lids for each one. The stuffing included bacon, onions, garlic, bread crumbs, seasonings and more. I love squash of all types. So did my cat.

I have to say I did not know they were called Patty pan squash. We just always called them white squash. They are my favorite. I just chunk them up boil them to be tender drain add onion, butter, a little bit of cheese, salt and pepper. Cook on low till all is together good. Love them.

My daddy always planted pattypan squash & my Mother would fry with cornmeal on it & I have bought my first June 2 2020 It’s making a comeback haven’t fixed it yet. But looking at all the recipes this looks delicious & elegant healthy ❤️❤️❤️

I'm not a fan of that kind of squash but I think you just converted me with that recipe. Now to find some of those kind of squash. I don't find produce like that.down here in Florida but I'm sure going to make a better effort to find some now. That looked so good when you had it plated up and cut in half. I haven’t prepared patty pan in a while but used to slice and fry it. I like the way you said you love it but Mr. B likes it. I don’t allow our kids to say they hate this-or-that but I’ll ask them if they love the item or if they like it. “Like it” is code for “I can eat it but it is not my favorite.” 😉 Love you Mrs. Lori!

Whippoorwill Holler oh yum! my mum used to make a zucchini loaf...it was sweet but not too sweet...it had walnuts or pecans, vanilla, plus the tang of lemon rind...it was soo yummy. i must make a gluten free version🤗
