Cool, it ticks me off when they charge $20+ for a plain commercial pizza, considering how cheap the basic ingredients are! I'll definitely make this crust and sauce, but can't do dairy cheese and refuse to buy pricy, sub-par vegan options. A can of blended white beans or chickpeas, with a little soy yogurt or lemon juice, herbs, nutritional yeast, and a few TBS of tapioca flour, then spread on top of the pizza makes a healthy, cheap, and decent cheese sub. (Blended tofu in place of the beans works too, but costs more, and is just a refined bean anyway.)
