  • 00:00 another mild day - too bad completely cloudy and, in the evening, foggy
00:04 election tent of political party Kokoomus at Compass
00:30 at 16:18, fog started to heavily settle; in this shot, the (lit) church Taulumäki isn’t visible any more. During normal weather, it’d be more than visible in the background.
01:10 (flea market section starts here:) a robotic vacuum cleaner
    01:15 an HP laptop holder
01:23 booklet “Some Fine Songs” with Finnish songs
01:34 another illustrated version of the Finnish national epic Kalevala
01:56 butterflies, drawing; the name doesn’t seem to be Finnish
02:12 painting (of Venice?); no price tag (yet?)
    02:36 a free-to-take book on Jyväskylä’s satellite town Muurame
03:20 1949-published, also free-to-take book on Jyväskylä, with tons of retro photos - got it for myself
03:50 (seemingly genuine - read: not just a translation) Russian flower book
03:57 a working Yamaha YPT-330 with no charger for 65e
04:04 Finnish drawing: Laila Polliainen (as stated by the seller) 55/75, “Baltic Sea” (“Itämeri”), 120e. Couldn’t find any info on her
04:21 wooden (electric) clock; origin unknown
04:41 Hellfueled - Midnight Lady CD (Swedish Metal) with a video track; not very rare (www.discogs.com/release/17430... )
04:48 Soviet “Majak” thick glass mechanical table clock, working and good condition; IMHO well worth the 12,90eur asking price
05:16 Telefunken TC 450 M tape deck from 1979. An interesting feature of this is the usage of the High Com consumer-grade tape noise reduction system (not compatible with Dolby), which, back in time, indeed delivered better quality / lower noise levels than the competing Dolby B. At 75eur, it’s averagely-priced, given that the same model is offered by several ebay.de sellers for around 50-60eur + post.
    05:53 Finnish oil painting: “Kontio”
    06:12 Philips D 7030/00 mono, Austrian-made(!), 2 Band radio + casette recorder from 1983
    06:20 some PS1 games
    06:36 LPs
07:37 LP: The Clash: Give Em Enough Rope; the original 1978 Netherlands pressing, pretty bad condition. The pricing (20e) is pretty much in line with the condition and definitely not a Best Buy.
08:02 a newer (1982) Clash LP, now in far better condition: Combat Rock. Average price (20e).
08:26 tons of mostly metal / hard rock music DVDs, mostly for 8eur each
09:43 Japanese(!), boxed Monster Hunter sword
09:47 an old CanoScan LiDE 200 scanner. The driver isn’t really compatible with modern Win/MacOS OS’es but at least the commercial VueScan has native support for it (with its reverse engineered driver). Also, the Win10 tips at answers.microsoft.com/en-us/w... may work. With this in mind (if you already own VueScan etc), the 22eur price isn’t bad.
10:01 dunno if these two are mass-made & hand-painted or unique handwork
10:19 a genuine 1957 Finnish book on drawing: Aukusti Tuhka: “Art graphics - Techniques and Artists” (“Taidegrafiikka - Tekniikkaa ja tekijöitä”) for 8eur. Not bad a price - I could only find one cheaper one, without the paper cover, at www.antikvaari.fi/teos/taideg... . The author was a graphic artist, specializing in lithographs and woodcuts; Wiki (no English version; as usual, use ChatGPT for translation): fi.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aukusti...
10:52 the seller I previously purchased the (very rare, local release) Tuula Helena compact cassette now have two additional ones for sale, for the same 1eur.
