Niger, like almost all African countries (the only exception I can think of is Ethiopia though perhaps Egypt too), is a European construct. Very unlike Japan.
The living conditions would be atrocious but if a country the size of the uk can hold 67 million, the southern area of Niger could possibly hold just as many and more But yeah the predictions are useless
This is understandable, however that idea is impossible. It’s unfeasible to stop people from doing what they do, as all throughout history, when one suppresses another, the suppressed always come out on top. This is true for things like poverty, death, and corruption. I’d love to a see world with peace, wealth, and friendliness- but there will always be someone who wants to topple that, including the laws of nature. It’s been like this since the beginning of civilization, and even if we advance to the point of immortality, it will never end. However, yeah, I totally agree. I live under the poverty line and I would definitely like a world without impoverishment!
Sad but (seemingly) true, the worst most miserable countries on Earth are mostly African (if you measure by GDP per capita). E.G. Burundi, South Sudan, Madagascar, Sierra Leone, Central African Republic, Somalia, Malawi, Mozambique, Niger, DR Congo, Sudan, Eritrea, Chad, Liberia, Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Burkina Faso, Mali, Rwanda, Togo, Ethiopia, Uganda, Lesotho, etc. But in some ways the "developing" 3rd world countries often have strengths such as family bonds and collective communal supportiveness, where as in the west (think USA) people are often very selfish and individualistic. Also in the USA if you "fail" to play the game and not "succeed" it's quite possible to be deemed a loser and wind up in a tent city or maybe with some shitty job in a crap apartment in a nowhere down-at-heel town eeking out an existence surviving paycheck to paycheck struggling to stay economically viable. Being "alone" in America is increasingly common and a source of substance addiction and suicide. Maybe better to be with your extended family under a thatch roof sharing meager food and companionship than to be strung out on a curb alone on some sidewalk in The Land of the Free the Home of the Brave. Just saying it's not only about money and "freedom".
this is true, in america even if you « win » you’re still a looser because your money can go in an instant and spending it feels useless. In America everyone knows how to start a company, make money but nobody knows how to have a family and how to manage kids while in poor countrys it the inverse. I don’t see the point of working 10 hours a day your whole life just to die alone, everything will get washed away. It’s better for one to fucus on having a big happy family that will last after your death and will continue the lineage of your parents. this is not only happening in america but all the world...
Agreed too on the USA part. Some of us within the USA have been looking at other countries to see if there is a framework we can borrow from other countries but with varying degrees over failure or success.
I will also add that these poor developing countries in sub-Saharan Africa have seen limited economic growth in the last half century, while Southeast Asia has seen an exponential increase in GDP and living standards of its average citizen. Both regions are made up of countries that were colonized and then gained independence.
I thought you meant the 2 most different neighbouring countries. Was going to say PNG and Australia. The continent of Africa will overtake Asia as the most populated continent on Earth in 100 years. Japan has to be the most xenophobic country on earth. Seeing they won't admit foreigners their population will shrink substantially in the next several decades. There will be alot fewer young people to care for the elderly peoples needs, especially health care
The Japonic language family is completely separate to the Sino-Tibetan language family. Just because today they use some borrowed vocabulary does not mean they are related. The only group of languages that it is even thought may share a relationship with the Japonic is the Koreanic, but it is still unknown.
According to the country similarity index used in this video,Mexico and Colombia are the most similar countries in the world, most dissimilar country to Mexico is Somalia

Impressive
I’d say Luxembourg and Afghanistan

i was thinking something like, canada vs timor-leste
I thought it was interesting that when you had Taiwan on one of your lists you had a dash instead of a number. Do you guys not recognize Taiwan 🇹🇼?
Pretty sure he got it from a website, he didn't make the list idk though
Taiwan is not fully recognised inthe world, which iw probably why the list didn’t give Taiwan a number. He’s not the one who made the list though
Niger, like almost all African countries (the only exception I can think of is Ethiopia though perhaps Egypt too), is a European construct. Very unlike Japan.
best not think too much, a lot of these people are proud of their nations.
I’m Nigerian and I’m not proud nigeria should’ve never existed the British were too damn greedy
I think its North and south korea or Liechtenstein and burundi.
Croatia and Serbia. One is good, the other is bad.
I originally guessed something from the Middle East, maybe UAE, and something from Sahara Africa, but no specifics.
I did decently.
Adopting a country possible? how about each country buddies up . Not Chinese sugar daddy diplomacy or new commonwealth type thing .
The most similar thing is they are both on the earth...
And they're both countries.
@@daisukiii and they both have people
OMG 😳 i guess right japan 🗾 vs African country
I would say Mongolia and South Korea
Will an arid country like Niger be able to accommodate so many people?
I feel these predictions are useless.
The living conditions would be atrocious but if a country the size of the uk can hold 67 million, the southern area of Niger could possibly hold just as many and more
But yeah the predictions are useless
@@kd4n347
UK has a long coastline, 1000 times better infrastructure than Niger, larger arable land and good friends (allies).
@@Abhinav_Sengupta infrastructure will be able to improve when countries develop.
North korea and south korea, if we're talking economy n political wise

What's interesting about this one is that North Korea and Norway are separated by just one country: Russia
I hope eventually poverty will cease to exist and we'll became a united civilization
not gonna happen if tyrants are in the government.
*Communist thinking detected*
@@Luka_D_Snots Want people stop being poor is communist? Ok
I believe only when we become an united civilization we may eradicate poverty.
Micronesia and Russia
Nigeria has resources to. It is heavily exploited
Monaco and Gabon
Japan germany and Italy are the oldest country

Japan has oledat average if You Don’t count micro countries like monaco monaco has oldest
I know two countries that arnt a like at all the Netherlands an Afghanistan.
The Dutch are known for having liberal marijuana laws, while Afghanistan cultivates the opium poppy plants for heroin. Or at least it used to.
Timor Leste and Surinam
I thought you meant the 2 most different neighbouring countries. Was going to say PNG and Australia. The continent of Africa will overtake Asia as the most populated continent on Earth in 100 years. Japan has to be the most xenophobic country on earth. Seeing they won't admit foreigners their population will shrink substantially in the next several decades. There will be alot fewer young people to care for the elderly peoples needs, especially health care
North Korea vs South Korea
Both have the same language, both have the same culture, both have similar food, Both are neighbors
Lol NK doesn't have food while SK has mukbang
Bad pick.
They were split within living memory (or within some people’s life time) and thus have not diverged that much.
CAR / Monaco
A comparison on education and literacy would have been interesting too.
Let me add you one more.
India- India.
Japanese not related to any other language: bs, a large portion of its vocabulary comes straight from Chinese.
The Japonic language family is completely separate to the Sino-Tibetan language family. Just because today they use some borrowed vocabulary does not mean they are related. The only group of languages that it is even thought may share a relationship with the Japonic is the Koreanic, but it is still unknown.
