Honestly the best cruise experience by far (and I thought others were good!). So many dishes you can have in pretty much all the different restaurants as well as casual dining. And lots of gluten free cakes too. The only thing I haven’t been that impressed by are the gluten free room service options so I haven’t used that and have instead made a DIY room service by collecting things from different places on board 🤣 I took loads of snacks with me and don’t need them.
I’m going on my first ever cruise this Saturday on Iona and going as a solo traveller. I’ve really enjoyed watching these videos and I’m glad there is plenty to do as a solo traveller as I was a bit worried.
Oh I’m so glad you found my videos! I’d recommend the solo meets if you’re struggling to find people and would like to socialise. And definitely go to events on the programme to meet like-minded people. The biggest challenge I’ve had is finding people again so make sure to exchange cabin numbers or arrange a place to meet in future. Lots of people don’t have wifi on the ship and with 5000 people on board you might not bump into them again! Have a fabulous time 😍

Didn’t meet many but I did meet some, just not as easily as in other cruises in my experience.
