Mike Brown, have you used as a reference the book THE DOCTOR TO THE DEAD by John Bennett (1946)? In it , he describes the vacant corner of Queen and Trapman streets where NOTHING-NOT EVEN WEEDS- would grow. On that corner was the OLD CONFEDERATE HOSPITAL that was in use during the siege of Charleston. YEARS AGO, I remember a VERY VERY DILAPIDATED BUILDING on that corner that looked a light breeze could knock it over. It wasn't until I read THE DOCTOR TO THE DEAD that I realized the building was the old hospital. BTW, I never finished reading that book. It got WAY TOO CREEPY for my liking.😬😬😬✌✌✌✌
I'd like to add that in recent years, weeds and grass are FINALLY starting to grow again. Whatever agony, sorrow, and, pain occured there has, thankfully, moved on.🌞🌞🌞🌞
Best tour I’ve ever been on!
