- One-Shot Comics can be great one-time stories or hugely impactful to canon in the long run. Today we look at the very BEST One-Shots ever created about Batman. Batman has close to 200 one-shots over the last 40 years but only a handful are legendary, and only a smaller handful can be considered a can't-miss Batman story. Time to update your wish lists!

My personal favorite is Son of the Demon by Chuck Dixon. When a friend told me Bruce and Talia got married and have a baby didn't believe him so I checked it out. (This was before Damian was formally introduced). I recommend this one because I liked how Bruce and Talia worked so well together. Bruce taught the league non lethal combat techniques and Talia genuinely loved Bruce. However, neither character was perfect. When Talia became pregnant Bruce was happy but got too overprotective and demanded immediate check ups for Talia, even if a soldier was fatally wounded. Talia was overwhelmed and told Bruce she lost the baby...but did she? With Grant Morrison, I either love his work or loathe it. Batman and Son made zero sense. Talia drugged Bruce? Come on!
I LOVE the demon trilogy, the only reason its not on the list is because its technically a mini series and not one shot. That being said I will be making a best Batman mini series video and that may just make it!
@@MintHunterComics Damn. I had no idea there were other parts to it. I'll have to hunt for it. if we're talking mini series, then Demon and Long Halloween got my votes.

Emperor Joker shouldn't count, it came right in the middle of a nine-issue story arc in the Superman comics. A great event, but definitely not a one-shot.
Also,check out Avenging Spiderman#6 Variant cause it has one of the best Punisher cover arts I have ever seen and would make a badass tattoo.

I know this won't count. But whatever. It's the second part of Scott Snyder's All Star Batman story: Ends of Earth. The one with Poison Ivy. It's part of a 4 part story. But my goodness,it just reads like a one-shot. Scott NAILED their interactions so well and the story is very profound.
The dark nights metal tie-in are also my favorate batman one shot my first one was batman: birth of the demon and that was pretty epic to read
I've been a huge Batman fan for as long as I can remember. My earliest memories are watching Batman '89 so I absolutely love All your Batman content and could watch it all day
So many great Batman One Shots out there. I always remember 'Seduction of the Gun', a early 90s 'message' comic. The violence of it all still sticks with me.

Batman Special from 84 has been one of my favourite comics since I bought it back then!! Love it love it and the art is beautiful, the story is fantastic!! Thanks for showing it Bat-Love Mint-Hunter!!!!!
I agree with ur number 1 pick cause the Killing Joke is one of those books that will always be in the top 10 as well as the Dark Knight Returns bit that's a four part book.James,you need to read Batman#544,545 and 546 cause the Joker uses the devil to take down Batman and it goes horrible wrong.

Bat-tastic one-shots my friend, I love the Harley covers, very glad you added her animated debut, that Ross cover of her and Joker is eternal, seeing that re-created on the big screen in Suicide Squad made the movie for me 🔥🔥🤘

Oh man... How did you even manage to narrow it down to just 10!? Hell of a list though. That Speeding Bullets is definitely an issue I need to pick up. Among many others on here, but thats a fave.

Thats why I had to include some honorable mentions lil, it was VERY difficult to get this down to 10. And yes I cant wait to submit to CGC. Im really hopeful for a 9.8

A great list,speeding bullets sounds like something I need to track down a copy of. The thing about Killing Joke is the fact that what he does to Barbara Gordon isn't even the sickest thing he does.
Aw man I wish you were local to me, my LCS has weirdly like 10 copies of speeding bullets (which is actually pretty interesting as it is a rarer one shot!)

I personally love McKeever Engines (LOTDK 74-75 ) I know thats orignally its 2 books, but in Poland I read this as one issue.

Just got "Ego" recently from my lcs, looking forward to the read. Especially after Matt Reeves name dropped it @ DC Fandome.
Ego is a MUST read Batman book. (I also think the Vampire series is as well)
I've had Ego, Noel and Red Rain on my to buy lists. Interesting that you didnt have Year 100 on here, I enjoyed that one shot. And do best batman miniseries, that would be fun with stuff like Long Halloween, Black Mirror, Court of Owls, etc..
Ah Batman year 100 is a four part miniseries NOT a one-shot!

I’ve always considered that Harley Quinn one shot to be the definitive/graded comic to get of her appearance, more so than Adventures 12. I also like how you mentioned Batman vs Hulk I forgot about that one 👍 Awesome list

I'd recommend Batman/Captain America over Batman/Hulk, but that's just me.
SORRY BUT THE TWO FACE DUO STORY IS ONE OF THE TEN BASE ON SILVER AGE STORY AND A NEW VERSION OF THE STORY. AND THE FIRST FIVE ANNUALS.
