You'd love "Take me now", another one from that band !! Hong Ki, the vocalist is often considered as one of the best vocalists in kpop (even though I wouldn't consider FTisland as kpop!)
FTISLAND is actually one of the best kbands I know. I've been their fan since 2011 so thank you so much for this reaction.
You right FTISLAND Lead Vocalist Hongki is Fan of Linkin Park, His role model is actually Linkin Park, so you totally right I won't be surprised if there are Linkin Park Vibes in their Music. Pls can you reacted more FTISLAND Live and Concerts.🙏❤
"Ugly heavy". Nice. Good to see you finally react to it. Even better to see that you were pleasantly surprised. And great to see you really enjoyed it. It'd be a shame if a metalhead like you missed out on such a great song and band. "Shadows" is one of F.T. Island's best songs. They are a Korean band but "Shadows" is a Japanese song. Almost all South Korean Rock bands do Japanese albums because Japan is a much bigger and far stronger market for Rock music than in South Korea. F.T. Island actually runs almost the whole range of Rock music. They started out doing Pop Rock and are also known for doing Rock Ballads. And as you noted here, this was them also doing Metal. The lead singer's name is Lee Hong Gi and he's considered to be one of the best vocalists of his generation in South Korea Rock or otherwise. He's been invited to even sing songs outside of the Rock genre because he's such a good singer.
This one is amazing, their sound is out of this world, the drummer was only 22 or 23 here.
OMG FTISLAND YAAAAAY
THEY’RE SUPER AMAZING
They’re Korean but have many songs in Japanese because they have A LOT of fans in Japan since Rock music is a really big thing there.
You should listen to “Take me now” and “Pray” by FTISLAND~
Also “Dirty house” by South Club
Thanks for your reaction of ftisland 🙏
FT island is the best band,,,all the members are multi talented.,
Спасибо большле.
👌👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️FTISLAND❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
They are fans of Linking Park, 30 Seconds to Mars but most of all Dave Grohl.
Please react to DREAMCATCHER "Break The Wall" and "Endless Night" 🙏🏼☆
They are from Korea, primarily do song in Korean and Japanese with some English thrown in with a good mix of sound
Also it's cool you mentioned linkin park vibes because the vocalist's favorite band is linkin park
I just love this band so much!
💜💜💜
LOL! Well they should fit in with what you have been reacting to because they are a KPop band lol Or maybe I'm misunderstanding because surely someone has explained in all this time that KPop is not a genre of music, it is the industry of entertainment companies that train and put together the groups, bands and solo artists. It is the process not the music. In KPop you have Idol Groups (like BTS/EXO/etc), Soloists (IU/ZICO/etc), and Bands (day6/FTIsland/etc). You have artists who perform one genre, like Pop, Rock, R&B, Folk, Ballad, Metal, HipHop, etc, and those who ignore genres and just blend them all together as most Idol Groups do. But confusion is understandable as many people say KPop when they should be saying Idol Group. And this is where I hope I didn't misunderstand and am just babbling on for no good reason lol Forgive me if this is the case.
No, that's wrong. K-pop is a genre. It's Korean Pop. That's what "K-pop" stands for. F.T. Island is not really a K-pop band but they are sometimes called "K-pop" because they started out doing Pop Rock music. Rock music in South Korea is in a very similar place like it is in the U.S. in that it's not that popular anymore. In South Korea, Rock songs usually only get popular if it's Rock ballads or Pop Rock which is why F.T. Island was mostly known for doing Pop Rock and Rock Ballads since that's what they mostly did in South Korea. In Japan though F.T. Island did the majority of their heavy stuff like "Shadows" here because Japan absolutely still loves Rock music and is very much mainstream over there. So Korean Rock bands go to Japan to really delve deeper into the Rock genre in ways they rarely would in South Korea.
@@DaRunningMan I think you both have it right, and not. There is Korean pop that is not Kpop ask a real Korean, that is for people like Kim Boom So, K. Will, Lee So Ra. Baek Ji Young etc. They have other genres includind Rock Gakusend, Rnb and so on. So what is Kpop what she said younger people and groups for young people of Koreans... Lee Hong Ki had said that after their 4th year he refuses to be called an idol, he have said he wants to be called an artist, so he knows the difference. For what he has said before, Idols are usually well behave guys that listen to the fandom, he told his fans once don't see me as your guy, we are friends I'm not your fantasy... can you see the difference on how other idols cater to their fandom and how they obey them in a way? Idols usually call their CEO and agency their family, Hong Ki went to the radio and criticized his CEO for what he said about him publicly.
Ftisland is a Korean band but the music is in Japanese language , another music like this are pray and take me now from this grill
Hope you enjoy.
React Day6 "Rescue Me" Band of KPop please... 🙏🙏
WOW, cool performance! Do you know what language is this?
Not sure
@@MadAng66 All of them are Korean and this song was wrote in Japanese by the leader
Since those rock stuff wasn't really preferred in South Korea so they were much popular in Japan and composed a lot of good songs there! You can check it out "Take me now" by FTISLAND too
React to the ft island vocalist lee hong ki and another rock band vocalist ha hyun woo sing this song it's great. ua-cam.com/video/Lbkz8sIqTC4/v-deo.html
