Congrats on your beautiful 355 GTS,I'm a 355 Berlinetta owner myself celebrating 18th anniversary this year.Make sure to have your headers checked, they will fail as they always do.Get Tubi headers if you can, best investment for the 355 in terms of reliability and sound.Have your cats checked as well because they will fail also.I bought 200 cell Nouvalari's sport cats I'm very happy with and they are very fairly priced. For aesthetics and feel,OEM airbag isn't very good on both,I installed a 360 wheel to replace ugly and bulky OEM airbag wheel and it completely changed the 355 experience both aesthetically and in feel. It's a complete plug and play mod that will enhance your 355 dramatically.Cheers from Paris. Olivier
Appreciate the feedback - I have now ordered Tubi manifolds plus a Capristo exhaust and already have new Capristo valves. Will also upgrade the steering wheel at some point. Looking forward to getting stuck into sorting the engine out and getting this iconic car running well again!
@@rajsangha911 Hello Raj,well done for the Tubi manifolds and Capristo exhaust! Tubi headers are the best investment for your 355,you won't regret it.What about your cats? Don't neglect them if OEM because they will fail too.For a very good price,I'm very happy with my Nouvalari's,you can talk to Richard at Nouvalari UK on my behalf (olivier from Paris) This is how mine sounds in nearby Paris tunnel with Tubi headers,200 cel Nouvalari sport cats, Tubi exhaust and OEM Y Pipe. ua-cam.com/video/efITNYGnFXw/v-deo.html To celebrate 18 year anniversary with 355, I ordered an ITO racing exhaust in Japan, are you familiar with these? Some 355 lovers think ITO exhaust is the best there is,I will find out in a few weeks when I receive mine after 6 weeks of manufacturing at the factory in Japan.check out a few ITO racing exhaust clips below: ua-cam.com/video/MI1YrtAyYjw/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/Atwi3ZLtDUc/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/h7ymF23J22s/v-deo.html Concerning the steering wheel, the 360 looks and feels night and day compared to ugly bulky airbag OEM wheel. Best mod I did on my 355 for sure. The only aesthetically acceptable alternative in my opinion is the OEM 355 Momo non airbag wheel fitted on earlier cars (94-95). If you're looking for either option, let me know,I have both, complete 360 steering wheel with airbag and OEM Momo non airbag 355 steering wheel. Cheers from Paris. olivier
Beautiful car Raj and I'm sure it will be a minor fault causing the issue as these cars need to be driven or else they do tend to foul up injectors, plugs etc. I'm a fan of the badge on the guard as a lot of work has gone into doing it but if you want to go factory spec I understand. Keep up the great content
It likely won’t be much. Fouled plug, bad coil or MAF - maybe even a bad O2 sensor. Are you getting any warnings or slow down lights on the dash? The throttle bodies may also need syncing, just hope your vacuum fittings weren’t snapped off like mine were (they are soft brass).
Nice. Probably a spark plug not right. Moisture can get in under the spark plug inlay gasket if its not fitted well. Changing the plugs is handy enough if you get the wee plug lead removal tool from Hill Engineering. Changing the plugs DIY takes about 90 mins or so per bank with the engine in situ. Drivers side is fiddly because of the oil tank. If the engine is out, it's 10 min job each side.
Appreciate the feedback - already have purchased many new parts from Hill Engineering - next episode we'll be dropping the 355 to Exotic Super Car South for a major service and a few upgrades
Sounds like the exhaust valve is stuck shut and not opening which is common. You’ll love the capristo! Check the wheel inserts for any cracks. Just replaced 5 on my car.
i had a 348 and it was bulletproof, i never broke down between maintenances, the 355 with the manual gearbox should be quite the same but with extra power...and power steering
My cousin bought 1 back in 2001-2 he was only 21 y/o then, I was about 19, only Ferrari in our area. Never sat in a Ferrari before that so when he had his went on plenty of rides and was thinking I’m living the Dream. But after few decades still a beautiful looking car. P.S he had cream leather interior 😊
@ forgot to mention he ordered it Brand New to his spec he wanted & it was built by order, Ferrari gave him an album with the car, detailing with photos the cars journey from start to finishing the build. I had never seen something so amazing tbh, he kept it for about 2years and sold it to a Ferrari main dealer, never seen it after that, good old days Raj I’m 42 now lol, but absolutely love your car collection 🙂
Never drive a car that is miss firing... Injector, spark plug issues??.... Can cause more engine issues by driving it... I would have all the suspension refreshed, cambelt, clutch, replaced, all fluids changed, set of 4 new tyres.. etc etc The paint has come. Up very nice 👌👌👌👌👌
Like watching yr curthoortarr is best way of multiple ownership insurance best way to buy wise to buy trader insurance ? government trying to overtax petrol heads because electric car sales failing ?
I love it! My Ferrari days are long gone but this is great to see. Keep up the good work
OMG, the cut-away commercial @ 1:30 is hilarious 🤣 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. Love the 355, one of Ferrari’s iconic models 👍🏼
Its such a beautiful car
That’s peak Ferrari in my book. So nicely proportioned and styled

I’ve got nouvalari cats on mine as well. No complaints at all
I have been so excited for this update, another top video. I look forward to chatting about cars on your next video.
I still think the 355 is such a good looking car, love the back portion and overall side vents 👍
Thank you Raj a great film and a cracking looking car in every sense!
Thanks for the feedback 🙌🏽
I'd say it's the best looking Ferrari. Always remember the woman driving it in Goldeneye
Ferrari at its peak styling ❤
Beautiful car 😍
Great episode 👏 cant wait for part2
Thanks for watching 🙌🏽
@rajsangha911 I ordered a focal vw package from yourselves and I haven't even bought the car yet 😅 it was on such a great deal 👍👍
Owned my red berlinetta manual for 10 years now…. Every time I drive it I fall in love again. The warmer the car the better.
Special car's these - looks fabulous and that V8 engine coupled with a manual box is just sublime 😎

Thanks for watching and appreciate the feedback. Shields do look great but I prefer the earlier cars without them.
Owned mine for 22 years. Absolutely love it.
Try changing the lamba sensors.
I will be following your progress. Good luck.
Thanks for the tip - already have new Lamba Sensors and many more parts. Next episode out soon 👍🏽

No warning lights on the dash whatsoever. Hopefully it's nothing major 👍🏽
Stunning car, my all time favourite ferrari if not all time favourite car! Definitely on my list if I had a lotto win.
thanks for watching 🙌🏽
Rattarossa Scott did the wing press on one of his Ferrari's

That would be my guess too, had the same myself, change all the plugs

Thanks for the tips! Yes, we believe the exhaust value is stuck open and already have new Capristo exhaust valves.
Magnums 308 gts, is another cool Ferrari.
Like the Italians say..give it a Italian tune up😉

Faulty exhaust ECU . A simple OB2 scanner will diagnose .
Not on a Bosch 2.7
Should have gotten a gated Merci 😜😜😜
Beautiful but high maintence - a bit like my friends missus!
Haha - great feedback 🙌🏽
@rajsangha911 my G. Mashallah lovely collection
Still a great looking car. Beautiful.
It sure is!
It’s worth it. Don’t forget the feul lines on the front side of the engine, or it will burn down.
yes, will have the engineers check those 👍🏼

Agree, it's still a beautiful looking car. Cream interior for the win 😉

Just a quick clean so far, plan to do a detail once the engine is sorted and all the upgrades have been done 👍🏽
@ after you have done all the work , is this going up for sale ???
You say it doesn't sound right but sounds bloody amazing to me haha
That V8 engine should be much more musical 🎶, but it'll do for now I guess 😊
The man doesn’t like 5th and 6th gear! 😂
No need for 5th or 6th at 50mph 😊

More of a ferrari dino man myself but this is still special
Dino looks cool too - not so sure how they are to drive though 🤷🏼♂️
Change both cat sensors …
I have new ones ready to go on the car 👍🏽
Raj, this is a big bill car...
Yes, it'll be worth it in the end... hopefully 🤔
Definitely not a dog
But rather a prancing horse in need of some love and care
haha - so true 👍🏼
fuel injectors needs clean up
Didn't sub for this, im just great full to see it
348 best looking
