The video is not only beautiful but also conveys a meaningful story about the harshness and wonder of life. Thank you BBC Earth for bringing us such wonderful footage! 🌿
The stunning visuals and incredible storytelling in this video highlight both the resilience of these baby birds and the harsh realities they face. Truly captivating.
These baby birds face so many challenges from the start! Their resilience is incredible. How can we contribute to protecting such fragile lives? Amazing storytelling as always, BBC Earth!
Respect to all wildlife photographers & natural scientists. They have to deal with challenging conditions to bring us quality content for our education & convenience.
Reminds me of the other extreme, Emperor Penguins and how they pick the most desolate freezing cold place they have to trek for miles with those short little legs…nature is strangely amazing.
what a beautifully shot video, and the way it captures the struggles of these baby birds is truly touching. but honestly, i can't help but wonder if some of these interventions we see should be left to nature. sometimes, it feels like we're interfering too much in their natural cycle. what do you guys think?

cormorants? an island i worked on had some try move in. their very feces annihilated nearly all the vegetation. disgusting birds. the state exterminated the birds they couldn't remove. it took years for the trees and vegetation to recover.

Yet you and nobody else has a shred of evidence for your dumb assertions.
@nKarje that's why it's called faith. You are a nasty person.
