In the final part of our series on former president Idi Amin, we look at a time when Uganda’s sports a major high point between 1971-1978. With well motivated sportspersons and a sports fanatic for s president, it is not hard to see why sports in Uganda hit its zenith during that period.

I remember seeing Idi Amin as a kid growing up in Moroto, Uganda way back. I was in the School Choir, and Amin was celebrating Independence day in Moroto in 1974. I remember him sitting and looking happy.

We had a field marshal too! His name was Herman Göring ! He was more bigger than AMIN ! Almost 30 kg ! He was a favorite of Adolf ! Idi Amin loved our adolf and what he did to Israel people.
